A go-green task at home we do is to turn off our heat (or AC, depending on the season) and water heater when we are away from home. This is a lot, since DH travels a lot for work (like, the last two weeks!), and the baby and I travel with him.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to guess how many or what brand diapers the Cloth Diaper Whisperer has, so I'll do both :) I guess she has 12 green diapers and they are a mix of Fuzzi Buns, BumGenius, Bummis covers, and Blueberry diapers!

I have a NB size light green Bumgenius AIO that I just had to put into the "too small for AJ" pile. Honestly I did not care for it all that well... It seemed to leak through WAY quicker than my homemade fitteds with a cover over top..:( And it was so cute too:(

Another go-green task we do at home is that we're incorporating more green cleaners rather than harsh, chemical-laden ones. My new favorite is Dr. Bronners... good for everything!!!!!

I also made one premie/doll size diaper for fun out of the same green polkadot fabric :)

I am not sure these count yet since they are not yet ready to get out of the sewing area but I currently am making a bunch of small and medium diapers that include 2 more of the green with snowflakes, 2 more green with triangles, and 2 more green with footbal players.

Another go-green thing we do at home is recycle! We just moved to a house (rather than an apartment) and it's much easier to recycle with a bin sitting in our garage ready to fill... we fill it to the brim every week!!

I agree with Cristy... breastfeeding is green! We do that as a go-green activity at our house, too! (Like, ALL THE TIME. What other 9 month old nurses hourly? Seriously.... and I'll stop rambling)

Another way I go green - In season, we garden, and I shop at the farmers market down the road. I also do my best to avoid prepackaged and processed foods. I shop the perimeter of the store instead.

We turn off our heat/ac when we are working/not home, and then only turn it on again if it is uncomfortable. Since we live in a townhome between two others, we are well insulated and often go for days even in the Utah winter without needing our heat!
