  28. My baby is due today! Who know when he or she will make an entrance, though. I don't expect a large baby. Anyway, of the diapers I have purchased, I plan to use the newborn Proraps and flat diapers first. They seem to be the smallest/least bulky of the combinations I have. If the baby is bigger than I expect, or when it grows a bit, I have infant size prefolds and Thirsties x-smalls.

We tried Kushies AIOs first... they worked well for the first year, but we didn't know how to care for them and they smelled, cracked, and leaked sometimes... eventually we were using the AIO under a thirsties cover! Now we're CD "experienced" (not experts) and favor BG 3.0 os and fuzzi bunz, and the occasional thirsties AIO!

  96. Hi! Our very first diaper was Thirsties prefolds and Thirsties covers. I sold them to buy our BG stash after my wee babe grew out of them. I'm really sad that Thirsties doesn't make prefolds anymore because I wanted to buy some for the new baby on the way. :(

I just became a twitter follower. My twitter is honeybeehill! Cheers!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I tried prefolds and covers first, and like them more than I expected to. They're not so difficult after all, and super easy to throw in the wash. I even like my cheapest Prowrap covers better than more expensive ones, too, though I wish they came in colors.
