Product Focus: BabyKicks

BabyKicks has been designing and manufacturing superior hemp diapering products in the USA since October 2000.

Krista, the original founder and owner of Babykicks was inspired to start BabyKicks after finding the new world of WHAM-made diapers on the internet which did not exist when she had her first three kids, and invented the now famous Joey-Bunz Inserts.

In February of 2007 Krista decided to sell BabyKicks to two young entrepreneurs who share her passion for the environment and are in love with the BabyKicks product line-up. As a result of the new Family based ownership BabyKicks re-located from Chicago, IL to the eastern shore of Maryland and is steadily introducing exciting new products that make use of the many benefits of hemp based fabric.

In addition to doing our small part to help the environment - hemp based materials are much less straining on the environment then cotton only material - BabyKicks strongly believes in social responsibilities. As a result BabyKicks has been encouraging and sponsoring our employees who take part in charity fundraisers, such as the Breast Cancer 3day March or the Columbia Triathlon (benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).

Product Description: Joey-Bunz Inserts BabyKicks Hemparoo® Joey-Bunz Pouch riders for your Pocket Diapers! These are six layers of absorbent hemp/cotton jersey that are only 1/8 of an inch thick, and work great with virtually all pocket diapers. Designed to be trim, absorbent and easy to use since there's no folding. Use one Joey-Bunz for daytime, two for nighttime, or three for a super-soaker and still have a trim fit. Gently contoured to be comfortable for baby.
Joey-Bunz also make GREAT doublers or use them by themselves in a snug fitting wrap.

Joey-Bunz are better than inserts made from man-made micro fibers because hemp is a natural product, grown without pesticides and not bleached, which is very harmful to the environment. Hemp also protects your baby because it is naturally anti-microbial.

Dimensions are as follows:
13½” long, 6” at the widest part of hourglass shape and 4 ½” at the center

    I have one BabyKicks insert and I LOVE it!! It is my favorite- BY FAR!! I would love to have more!!

    I have a joey-bunz insert and it is the greatest thing ever. I like that I can use it with a regular insert at night and get the absorption that I need without it being bulky

    This is very interesting. My brother is a big advocate of using hemp for fabric so I think this would be great to try!!

    I am very excited about these products. I am really into natural fibers but haven't tried any hemp products yet. I think I will have to add these to my next order. Do the hemp products keep baby dry or are they similar to cotton?

    I have two amazing Joey Bunz inserts that are at least 6 years old (they are hand-me-downs) and have been used on at least 6 kids. They're looking a little worse for wear, but they're still going strong in my pocket diapers!

    We use them with our BG's & love them for nighttime! My ONLY complaint is they are stinky dispite stripping :(

    We use ours in our BG 3.0's and they work REALLY well! I have never had issues with it stinking. I would LOVE some more since the one we have is so wonderful!

    I really want to try these. I'm looking for a way to reduce a bit of bulk in my daughter's diapers. And I love that these are made from hemp, another great step for the environment.
