Video Tutorial: How To Use a Snappi

24 comments:

  1. Great Video! I have two Snappis for my prefolds and this video would've been great when I was learning how to use them the correct way. It took me a good two or three times each diaper change for about a week to realize what I was doing wrong.

  3. Those look way easier than pins! If we have any more kids, I plan to use prefolds at the newborn stage and I will definately need to get one of these!

  5. So embarressing...I watched this video and realized that I had been folding the incorrect way this whole time!!! The snappis were correct but no wonder I have been cleaning up so many messes.

  7. Love the bloopers!

Thank you for a great demonstration. We just started using a snappi here this week and it was a lot easier than I had anticipated. We're planning on using it with baby #3 due here in about 3 weeks.

Question: What about boys? Does it smash there little boy parts? It looks as though it would. Thanks.

  8. Snappis are wonderful! I recently picked up a second Snappi, this time in blue... Our first one was white, and it kept getting lost in the diaper pile!

  9. Wow. That looks so do-able that I may have to rethink my anti-prefolds stance. Thanks!

  11. #1 - So cool to finally put a voice w/ the name & face.

#2 - Thank you for making the video. I have always wondered what a snappie was and how people used them. :)

  12. Andrea: Your question gave both Kelly and I quite a chuckle!

No, the Snappi will not smash little boy parts. It simply grips the outer portion of the prefold (or fitted/contour) diaper and doesn't really apply any pressure in the boys "netherlands."

  13. I am not a prefold user at all (pocket and aio gal) but this makes me want to give prefolds a try. The video makes it seem so simple. Yes, hosiewosie, I second that Ilyas is very darling..and handsome too!

  14. Very educational for those who haven't ever used a Snappi before. And I love the bloopers reel at the end.

  15. We love using a Snappi--I probably wouldn't have touched a prefold without one. Good video--I'm a visual learner I would have loved to have seen this when I first started.

  19. Thank you for this! I'm still a little unsure about prefolds because I was worrying that I wouldn't be able to fold them right, but watching them get folded made it seem much easier than I was imagining.

  21. I have been so curious to see how Snappi's work, I've heard that they're better than pins, but I am one of those who was scared off by pre-folds...so glad to see it's not to hard if I want to try w/ #2 :)

  22. Thanks for the video! I have ventured into prefolds just last week and there is no way I would have if not for Snappi's- huge pins that close to my kiddo's body freak me out!!

  23. This is a great video, and it makes me want even more to try snappis! Awesome. And can I say there is a certain amount of hilarious associated with diapering a LO in undies? I get why, but it's still funny!
