ReplyDeleteI use Grandma El's diaper cream, actually, as well as Avalon organics. Both are wonderful for cloth diaper users and work for different sorts of rashes. I chose these products because I was so concerned about ruining my cloth diapers, and about treating Kidoodle's skin with harsh chemicals.
ReplyDeleteMy baby doesn't need too much...but we have used Aveeno babywash.
ReplyDeleteI use California Baby products. Mainly because it's the most-accessible, cheapest option I can find that scores low on the EWG's fragrances and other yucky stuff tests :)

ReplyDeleteI use Johnson's original shampoo/baby wash and lotion. I just love the smell!

ReplyDeleteI use Burt's Bees baby products on my kids. I like them because they're more natural than the mainstream baby products, they smell and work great, and they're readily available at Target and the natural section of our local grocery store chain!

ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about the "California Baby" care line. If I understand it right, the diaper rash cream can be used with cloth diapers!
ReplyDeleteI mainly use California Baby or Aveeno. She is sensitive to the products with scents.

ReplyDeleteI just started using flannel cloth wipes with Lusa organic baby wipe juice. I love that when I change my babies' cloth diapers I can wipe their bottoms with cloth and toss the whole pile into the diaper pail(no separating b/w cloth and garbage).

ReplyDeleteI used to use Burt's Bees until I realized how some of the "natural" ingredients were processed (with chemicals). I use a combination of California Baby and Bubble and Bee products. I highly recommend Bubble and Bee for not only baby, but for the whole family! They were recently certified USDA organic!
ReplyDeleteI am a facebook fan.
ReplyDeleteI use aveeno because I can buy it from Costco.
ReplyDeleteI usually use original sprout on my little one, but I am always looking for new things to try! Facebook fans as well!(and newsletter)
ReplyDeleteMy very favorite is Aveeno hair & body oat wash. Smells the best.

ReplyDeleteWe don't use a lot of baby care products, because I don't like to use a lot of products on my baby ;-) She has tendencies for {bad} diaper rash, and has a prescription cream for that, so that doesn't really count...
ReplyDeleteBut we do use Badger Sunscreen! It works well - no sunburn all summer, and it comes in high SPF. Reasonably priced, considering it's all natural. Of course, harder to apply, but that comes with the deal. :)

I use Aveeno baby products because both my husband and I had eczema when we were young, so I am trying to be proactive and use gentle products. I am also going to try Burt's Bees when I run out of Aveeno. I use Lansinoh diaper rash cream because it is the best stuff I have found for clearing up my baby's diaper rash.

ReplyDeleteI just use Dr. Bronner's Baby Mild castile soap mixed into water with a little essential peppermint oil for everything--wipe solution, shampoo, hand soap for the family. We've been using this system for 3 months and haven't used more than a tenth of one bottle, which comes to a total cost of $1! It's gentle enough for baby and keeps my poor over-washed hands from cracking.
