I know we are saving at least $40 a month with my 2.5 year old. Now with the newborn we are probably saving close to $60 since she is powering through diapers.

I'd estimate that I save about $60-$80 a month on my baby...he goes through a lot of diapers!

we are just starting out in cloth, so right now we haven't saved any money. but in a couple of months when we "break even" it will be about $50 a month and the savings will be even more when we have #4 soon.

Because I haven't actually bought any disposables before, I don't actually know, but I would say that we safe probably around $30 a month if not more!

Hmmm, I would say we are saving about $50-$100 a month by using cloth diapers. My 16 month has 3 bowel movements a day so we change diapers quite frequently.

With two kiddo's (DS #1 still in diapers at night) I would say we are saving roughly $40-60 a week depending in what brand we were to get. DH LOVES not having to fork that $$ out all the time!

My rent includes my water bill (weather I use it or not), so I would guess that I save $10 a week or $40 a month!!
And I wash every night--so it only took us two months to recoup cost on the diapers we bought!!

I think I am saving between 30 and 40 dollars a month by using cloth! That totally rocks!

My guess is $50 a month, but I've never bought disposables (only priced them out) regularly, so I'm not sure.
We haven't tried CD yet, but our 2nd son is 8.5 months old and we are considering starting. We estimate that at this point in Size 3 Luvs diapers, we would save $29.42/month at a rate of 6 diapers per day.
That's 180 diapers per month we could keep out of the landfill, for the next 19 months (if he PT's as quickly as our oldest son did!).
Wowza! That's 3420 diapers we could keep out of the landfill! Not to mention saving around $550 doing it!
Right now with PT cloth diapering we are saving about $15-$20. When we go Full time we will save around $40 (more if we use cloth wipes, too!)--Yeah!!!
I think I save about 40-50 a month!
I commented on "10 reasons I love my kids" :)
I'm not sure as we never really used sposies except the first 3 weeks or so. Maybe about $40/month or so.

We are CDing part time and are saving about $15-$20 a month. Soon, when we go full-time, we'll save closer to $40!!!!
It's been great to see the other comments, how much families are saving using cloth diapers -money and resources! My $40 a month savings doesn't account for the environmental savings in the long run.

We save about $40 per month using cloth.
I commented on the product focus for Bummis.
Well, let's see. We were going through approximately 1 1/2 boxes of diapers a month. And if I'm buying Pampers which we did on occasion we're saving apx. $30.00. But if I bought Luvs which is more like what we did, I'm saving apx. $25.00.
We also have been using cloth wipes for a month or two now, so I'm now also saving about $10 on a box of wipes as well!

I just purchased a new stash for baby #2, and spent $400. Considering we would have spent $1400+ to put her in disposables until age three, that's a great savings!
I am guessing I save about $40 a month, but really have no idea because I have never bought disposables!

subtracting $2 for water and soap usage, I'd say around $78/month. The last time I bought 'sposies was before we moved her in May, and it was around $20 for 38 diapers I think. x4 weeks minus laundry costs. Not bad, really.

I spent an average of $33/month on diapers - I bought name brands but always used coupons and followed the sales. I just started cloth diapering so I hope to save a lot of that money now!

Right now, if I were using cloth diapers exclusively I would be saving about $20 a week.
But I cannot get the ammonia smell out so I'm buying sposies and don't know what to do other than that. BOO!

Once I consider how much I've spent, I can't say that I'm really saving anything. Someday, though, I think I will.
I think we save on average $50 a month. We use cloth wipes too, and don't have to buy the diaper rash cream like we did with disposables.

I coupon so I can get disposables for about two dollars a pack which kills alot of the money savings from cloth. I use cloth not for the savings but for the health of my baby.
I would be spending around $48 a month on sposies. I haven't done the math on my cloth diapers stash. But I know we are saving so much more $$$! We want more children too :) So its really going to pay off in the long run.

I plan on having 4 children. That could be a lot of disposable diapers and a lot of money!!! That is why we chose cloth diapers! If you have a good start-up investment and take very good care of your cloth diapers-following the washing instructions, etc., I would say a couple thousand when all is said and done!!!! Convinced yet?!
I posted a comment on "Unneccesary Necessities."
I would guess at least $40.
I love my cloth and figure it saves me around $25-$30 a month! And that's shopping coupons and sales.

Can't wait to start saving money...it won't happen with this baby unless he's in them for a Loooong time.
we have saved about 200 in the last 2 1/2 months but we barely have enough to last us a day and because of that have still had to occasionally buy disposables which my son breaks out really bad from in fact he has a bad rash right now because we ran out of cloth
Facebook follower...I'm working on getting a cloth diaper set going...but due to our limited military income it is hard. We are a eco-friendly household...and are really wanting to switch to CD's for our little one. Its better for her...the earth...our budget.... Its just hard due to the up front funds needed, which is holding us back at the moment. I would love to win the Bummis Diaper Kit...to finally get use going on the right path. I estimate that we would save about $60 a month (inc. wipes/she is a heavy wetter). I cain't waite to get started...wish me luck, thanks. ;-)Read More

We save 40-50 a month!
I haven't saved any money yet. I've been using a diaper service for the last three months. I costs $72 a month for diapers and covers and weekly pick up and drop off. I loved the service but it is getting expensive. I decided to give it a try and wash my own diapers. I'm staring out with 2 dozen prefolds and six covers. I spent about $100. I look to save about $20 a month vs disposables only because of inital cost of diapers and covers. I expect to use this size for about two to three months.
I'm signed up for your newsletter.
I have a Fluff Friday badge on my blog (arizonaforever.blogspot.com).
We currently spend $15 a month on disposables, and about the same a month on cloth diaper products (soap, covers, inserts, new dips) plus the $6 a month wipes (if I could break myself of the habit we could stop this cost). I figures if we did disposables all the time we'd be spending a good $50-60 more a month.
