  1. I have a couple of prefolds, a Bummis super whisper wrap and an imse vimse cotton cover. I mostly use pockets, but my daughter's growing out of her smalls and I haven't really replaced them, so this set would be great.

  3. Still on the disposable diapers and saving my money so that I can buy a bundle of gro baby. I would totally use the Econobum. I've decided to use prefold diapers anyways. Hopefully next month or so we'll be on cloth diapers!

  4. I have never tried a prefold and cover system on my own daughter, but I have used them on other peoples children. I'm not sure of the brand. Yes, I would consider using these on my daughter.

  6. I have used prefolds with wool and fleece covers (my own brand--I made them!) I would love to try the econobum! I found I don't hate prefolds at all and this is such an economical package!

  8. Half of my current stash consists of indian prefolds and thirsties duo wraps (the smaller size). I used to use snappies with the prefolds, but now I find it easier to just lay them in the cover and I'm ready to go! I wash the covers any time my DD poops. The only down sides to the thirsties is that you still have to buy two cover sizes if you use them over the course of your diapering, and now that my DD is bigger (and chunkier), the leg gussets are too tight for her legs. I have to make the waist looser that I would like it to be in order not to cut off circulation in her legs. :-( I'm excited to try econobum because it's a one size system and the prefolds it comes with are designed particularly for the covers.

We have used Mother-ease in velcro and snap, Imse Vemse soft covers, Bummis Super Whisper Wraps and Super Brite covers and a Bumkins. I have also used a Swimmi and a GroBaby shell as a prefold cover.

  74. Well...I hope that this is where I post a comment for the Econobums!!! I have used pre-folds and proraps from a diaper service. I did not care for the service as my dd had issues with their detergent, but I am very interested in diapering and washing myself...and would certainly consider using these!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I really enjoy the simplicity of prefolds and covers. I have always had some Thirsties diaper covers in my stash. They are just so easy!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I have used a pre-fold cloth diaper system. I used chinese prefolds, snappies, with Thirsties covers!! I then switched to Lite Wrap covers (which I really liked)!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I've only tried pocket diapers up to this point. The Econobum Kit sounds really appealing! I love all-in-ones compared to buying multiple sizes. Thanks!

  80. I'd would like to try the Econobum system. I'd have a trifold that snaps into a cover, but I don't really used it. I have a heavy wetter so it was hard to for it not to leak! I like that the Econobum prefold are one-size. I couldn't do it with the trifold I had.
