  1. I would purchase one of each! Particularly AIOs and OS diapers, in a rainbow of colors and patterns. One big sampler pack :)

  3. If someone gave me $500 for cloth diapers, after I finished kissing them and grovelling, I would spend it all on Fuzzibunz OS diapers. I like BGs and most of my stash is made of them, but I LOVE the brights in FuzziBunz!

  4. QOTW: I would buy bumgenius in every color/pattern.

  12. Oooh, $500 for cloth diapers. It's just so exciting that I couldn't even pick. First of all, I'd get a new wet bag because mine (cheap one from Target) has shrunk. Then I'd buy lots of different prints and try at least one of each different brand that I can find. And I'd find some diaper with ruffles somewhere.

  14. I would buy a whole bunch of BumGenius AIO's! And probably some Rumparooz too.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Right now, I think it would be a bunch of Mother-Eases. This is my first week into official cloth diapering... boy, it's HARD! Couple leaks, a blow out, not knowing how to fold them correctly, etc. I have several types to try from, and so far MEs are holding up the best.

Another reason why I would be picking MEs is because they can line dry better than AIOs or prefolds. I live in an apartment and don't plan to chunk up money for the dryer when I can use the sun.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I would load up on perfect fit fuzzibunz, one size fuzzi bunz, BG flip, Grovia shells and liners, Happy Heineys, and a few other new ones to try out!

  21. I would probably get a mix of Rocky Mountain Diapers (been dying to try these) and some BumGenius 4.0s with snaps.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'd probably buy a really nice sampler pack because I love using different kinds of diapers for different things. I love pockets for night time. Love fitted for out and about and I love prefolds for being around the house. So an assortment would be my answer

    ReplyDelete
  36. OH, my dream!!! BG 4.0s in snap! They are the best I've ever tried!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I would purchase mostly BG 4.0 snaps, but I would also get a few grovia AIO. In love with both!

  43. If someone gave me $500 to spend on cloth??? Wow, I wouldn't use it all!!! I probably would get a good stash of GroVia for myself as it's the one system we haven't tried, and then spend the rest of the money on prefolds/covers and everything needed to get other new and LOW INCOME mothers started on CDing. Having been a low income mom when I started (making less than $500 a month and taking care of a very high needs and medically fragile child who is doing better now :) ) I think other moms who were in my situation need to know about not only the cost savings, but to be ecofriendly also. I think it's very important to pay it forward and this would be the most perfect way to do that!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. If I had $500 to spend I would split it up. There are some very cute diapers out there that I'd like to have. I really like the Rumparooz in Lux. I would probably mainly get Fuzzibunz and Grovia, though. I'm excited to see the new designs that Grovia is putting out soon.

  72. Wow that is a tough question!! I am really loving Thirsties Duo Diapers. I love the fact that the insert comes out in the wash. We are using a size 2 and my daughter is 1 yr old and is only on the middle rise, so I find this very true to fit. I would love to have a whole stash of these for the next baby when I am pregnant, so I am going to say, Thirsties Duo Diapers!

  77. I'm just starting out with cloth (baby due very soon!) so I'm still in the learning stage. I think if I had $500 to cloth diaper I would want a really well rounded stash. I would definitely want a lot of fitteds and wool. I really like to support small shops and WAHMS when I can, so I would try to buy from there when I can.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I really like Bum Genius. I think I would get a mix of the 4.0 one size with both closures and some AIOs. I would get lots of girly colors from my Little Miss.

    ReplyDelete
  82. If I had $500- I would buy the Rumparooz starter bundle for $300 and then 3 small AIO BGs for $47 and 3 small perfect size Fuzzi Bunz for $54. With remaining moola I would 2 FB perfect size in medium for $32, 2 GroVia experience package for $63, and thirsties wipe pack for $11.

OOOOOOOO that was fun! : )
My supply is complete in my imaginary shopping cart...

  91. I would definitely get some BG Elemental AIOs (in hopes that I could get my husband to change a diaper, since he's not changed one since we switched), Thirsties covers in every color, a few more GroVia shells and lots of extra soaker pads, and I want to replace the bulk of my prefold stash with fitteds (as well as upgrade the prefolds I keep to organic ones in the next size up).

Can you tell I have been thinking about this... a lot... ?!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I would probably pick BG Elementals. I really like the pockets we've been using and I also really like the prefolds and covers for young babies... but I don't have any of these and there are some times when I would like a much easier Laundry Routine.

I think I'd also get some Bummis Wet bags with the straps and a mega bucket of Nellie's Soap or RG soap.

There's a lot of other things that I haven't tried yet, though, that I'd love to! I'd probably try a couple of a bunch of different kinds of diapers to satisfy my need to try new things!
