I haven't started CDing yet but we plan to do it for our soon to be foster children. I've heard great things about the Flip system so I think that would be my choice for travelling.

For travelling, I tried gdiapers and hated them, but FLIPs worked great!!! Also, the occasional disposable, just in case I run out of covers!!! I think the flip inserts take up less room than disposables in luggage, though!

OK, I can speak from experience here and, though it's not the answer you'd like to hear, when we went to Germany and Austria in May for two weeks, we used 7th Generation disposables for travel. We had VERY limited access to laundry, and the European washers use WAY less water, so I was concerned about cleanliness. It ended up being the most convenient and "doable" option - though we were happy to get home and back to our cloth diaps!

I'd consider using my prefolds and Thirsties but if I ended up having to pay extra for more luggage then I'd probably bring disposables. I'm really interested in the FLIP diapers so if they packed easily then I'd consider taking them.

To be honest, I would likely do disposables for overseas travel. It would just be easier then having to wash.

If I were traveling overseas I would probably use something with a disposable inner, like the G diapers. Though I have throwing things in the trash, the G diapers are biodegradable. I think it would be very convenient as opposed to my regular pocket dipes.

I haven't actually started cloth diapering yet...(wasn't enlightened with my first, second due in Jan.) but I would think one of the hybrid systems with the disposable inserts would make sense!

I would either use disposables or a system with disposable liners. My main concern would be packing and then the ability to wash while traveling.
I'd use flip covers (because they dry super-fast) with my gdiaper disposable inserts. Perfect combo!

its time for fluff friday 96 @diapershops #clothdiapers, this week it's FLIP!!!
We recently started buying some Flip diapers for our little one on the way, so I would just add some of the disposable inserts for travel.. Only 3 more weeks until we get to meet him! = )
Also added as a fan on FB..
I would use Flip or prefolds.

Hmm.... maybe flats because they'd be so easy to wash & dry. Plus - they could be useful for other purposes. But also have some Best Bottoms... and something like that would be easy to wash too.

We had to do this recently and we ended up going with disposables. I really wanted to use covers with disposable inserts, but in the end it was a lot cheaper to buy disposables and easier, as we could get them along the way instead of carrying them all with us.

If I were traveling overseas I might invest in some flats and use with our wool and covers. Seems like it would be the easiest to wash under any circumstance, dry quickly, and not take up as much space in luggage.

Flips with their disposable inserts or with gdiaper flushies. That plane ride would be ROUGH with prefolds!

I'd probably use a hybrid style so I could easily dispose of the inserts. I'd bring along some disposables, too. You never know if you'll have access to a laundry machine!
