Still just EBF'ing here, but I have resorted to using the kitchen sink sprayer a couple of times, and then scrubbing the sink. It'll be nice if I don't have to do the last step of that though. Dreading starting solids without a sprayer.

We used to spray with a jerry-rigged sprayer (made from a shower sprayer for giving dogs baths), but that doesn't work for the place we're in now. Now I just plop it in the toilet and then wash. Not the greatest routine, but workable. A diaper sprayer would help! :-)

For Christmas, hubby got me a diaper sprayer that attaches to our faucet. I am in LOVE with it!!! Cloth diapering has become so much easier with the diaper sprayer. No more scrubbing poopy diapers by hand prior to washday! :-)

We use liners, but I would looove a sprayer, so we don't have to keep on purchasing liners (or forgetting to use them...)

Donna J. said...

I just bought a pack of the flushable liners, but would really like to get a sprayer, so that I don't have to keep buying the liners. Before purchasing the liners, we just hoped that it was solid and if not, scraped it off with whatever we could find, lol.

I dunk her diapers in the toilet and then soak them in cold water and get them as clean as I can before putting them in the pail. I would be so grateful for a diaper sprayer! It would make my process SO much easier and then maybe I could get the hubby to even help....just maybe... ;)

We have newborn poop -so it goes straight in the wash. Now when baby gets a little older, we'll be looking to get a diaper sprayer and probably use flushable liners while we're out and about.

Aileen said...

I just discovered the disposable (and flushable) liners by Grovia and I am in love with them. No more trying to use toilet paper to get off what doesn't shake off! And since baby is pretty predictable, I only use 2 in a day so the roll of 200 will last a long time!

I occasionally use liners (especially when traveling), but right now we're in the good stage where the poop falls off the diaper. I've been known to dunk a diaper at home and would love a sprayer to rinse diapers.

I'm going to be starting cloth diapers next week (anxiously waiting for my first order to arrive in the mail as we speak) so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my poopie diapers yet. A diaper sprayer looks like it would come in handy though. I'm banking on dumping the waste into the toilet for now and letting the washing machine do the rest.

I am currently just tossing into the diaper pail(no solids yet, BF). I have had no stains yet because I have only been using cloth for 2 weeks, part time and washing every night. I would really like a diaper sprayer for when the novelty of nightly laundry with several cycles and line drying wears off!
