I'm excited because I love using velcro on a newborn and it will be nice to have a better option for baby #3 due in April!

ReplyDeleteI actually love using hook & loop diapers because of how easy they are and how good the fit is! But the fact that they wear out quickly has always been the down side! So, hook & loop that is longer lasting is super exciting!!!

ReplyDeleteI am excited about stronger hook & loop because the main reason people say they don't like hook & loop is because their little one can un-do it. (My little one hasn't arrived yet so I have no experience on the topic). I'm thinking stronger hook & loop will help make the diapers last longer without replacement sewing involved too!!

ReplyDeleteI had size 1 Thirsties covers, and loved the double gussets, but didn't care for the H&L, so when my LO moved up a size, I didn't get more. Looking forward to trying the improved H&L!

ReplyDeleteI've never been a huge fan of aplix, but the fact that the new Thirsties H&L is stronger makes me want to give it another chance. I know my husband likes aplix because of the easy factor.

ReplyDeleteI haven't tried Thirsties yet, but I want to get more prefolds & covers. I'm hearing this is a favorite cover of many. Aplix is quick & easy for daddies and others who aren't used to changing cloth.

ReplyDeleteI think stronger hook and loop tabs is a great because we love the ease of use of velcro, but normally it isn't durable enough for us to buy confidently. I am excited about these new ones!
ReplyDeleteWe started out with APLIX Thirsties Duo covers and my husband loves the ease of the tabs, and the double gussets. He has requested these for when we expand our stash. I borrowed some used ones, and the aplix was a little less sticky, so I am excited to try the improved aplix for this and future babies!

ReplyDeleteI love Thirsties Duo Wraps! They are my favorite cover. All of my covers currently have snaps because I'm afraid of the hook and loop giving out. However, I'm thrilled to see a new and better hook and loop and am ready to give it a try!

ReplyDeleteI think the hook and loop will be quicker. I've not had much experience with these, I have almost all snaps. However, I'm excited to try this and I think it will be easier on my mother in law :)

ReplyDeleteWe've never tried fitted before and I've never heard of the thirsties fab fitted! Maybe this cover has a better front flap fit than the older ones did. I would always get front leaks with our little guy. Eager to try the new!

ReplyDeletethe h&l on the thirsties I have now is really wearing out and it hasnt even been used much. Im glad they have improved it so moms can get more life from their diapers

ReplyDeleteWe've had issues with a little girl taking a nap in her dress and an aplix diaper only to find her diaper free and in need of clean sheets. Stronger aplix will minimize this! :-)

Everyone knows that if the first experience isn't so good, it effects those in the future, so a stronger hook & loop means a better experience for me and my kiddos!
