  1. I have a DIY spray pal to save a little money, and it's less than ideal. Most diapers are too long, so they end up dangling in the toilet or the spray ricochets all over the magazines that my husband insists on keeps RIGHT next to the toilet bowl. I never know if the water that hits them as poo in it or not. It's JUST gross. Would LOVE to have a legitimate Spray Pal!

  16. My son had the tummy bug and I was knew to my sprayer and starting spraying poop went flying all over my bathroom my pants, my face, the toliet etc it was crazy!

  24. I don't have a story - yet! My little one is just 4 months old and breastfed so we haven't needed a diaper sprayer yet. However, in a couple of months we will start feeding him solid foods and then we will definitely need it! Before we had him, a friend invited us over to teach us about cloth diapering. They gave us a demonstration of their diaper sprayer - awesome!

  32. I don't have a diaper sprayer or a spray pal. I do the old scrub a dub in the tub. ;-) the worst moment I've ever had was when some of the poopy water splashed up and I got some on my face xD

  33. My husband thinks that if overspray happens, you only need a towel to dry it up. I'm kind of concerned about what might be carried in the water, if you know what I mean. I'd love a spray pal!

    The Spray Pal is THE best cloth diaper poop invention since the sprayer was invented! It seriously has SAVED the bathroom from poop particles! YUCK! LOL

  39. I caught me 2 year old cleaning off my sprayer the other day. She had a piece of tp and said mom I'm cleaning off this sprayer. It was too funny.

  40. Funniest story I have is my 18 month old loves to watch me spray his diapers and as now learned how to use the sprayer. The other day I caught him dragging his clean diapers into the bathroom dropping them in the toilet and then spraying himself and my entire bathroom down with the sprayer.LOL I had to laugh at the time to keep from crying at the mess I had to clean...Maybe, just maybe the Spray Pal will help him with his aim next time. :)

  48. I think it would help between leg blocking the baby so he doesn't fall in the toilet and spraying myself when I turn to yell at the toddler.

  49. My funny story about my diaper sprayer is that I bought it several months ago and it's still in the package. I've just been using my shower head to spray my diapers in the toilet and I need this because the shower head is pretty strong!

  51. I don't use a diaper sprayer, I do the dunk and spin method in the toilet. It sure would be nice to have a reason to buy a diaper sprayer. Dunking can get super messy sometimes.

  55. This is the ideal accessory for all cloth diapering mom's! Keeps the toilet area dry Sanitary. Spray pal needs an award.

  57. while spraying a diaper it splattered all over the edge of the toilet. As soon as that happened the baby decided to come in and my hands were full. Needless to say i couldn't keep her from putting her hands in it. Yuck!

  58. I've never used a sprayer. I have a newborn in cloth for the first time. At this time we don't need it, but I know soon enough we will "transition" to a time when we do! :)

  64. We have one teensy bathroom and a toddler in cloth. Spraying doesn't always stay in the toilet- I've found dry poo on the edge of the tub after my husband sprayed out a diaper. Ugh!

  73. The very first time we used our sprayer, I had no idea it was adjustable, so I turned it on full blast, and it ricocheted so far that we had to buy new toothbrushes!

  76. Earlier, I was cleaning a particularly stinky diaper from my toddler. I was distracted by the smell and not paying attention to what I was doing with my sprayer. I was all set up and pulled the trigger. I got sprayed in the face!! In my distraction, I hadn't realized I was holding my sprayer upside down!! At least it was just water though.

  100. Well I really need a cloth diaper sprayer.
    everytime I try to spray my diapers it apparently sprays small pieces of poo all over my wall and I just so happened to notice some of the brown stuff on my wall is not a part of the chocolate colored paint stripes. ( my bathroom is pink and chocolate colored)

  102. I don't have a diaper sprayer, yet. But as of right now I have gloves, 5 gal bucket & put it in the tub and run them under the water to get the poop out. But my sinks in the way so it's back breaking with two kids who wont leave me a lone. if I won this then i'd have a reason to get the diaper sprayer ;)

  114. I decided we would save the money and not get a sprayer. Our bathroom is small and the toilet is right next to the tub and we have a detachable shower head. We use that as a diaper sprayer. It's difficult to adjust the spray strength though so water sprays all over the place.

  118. I don't have a diaper sprayer yet- my baby isn't due until May. However, I think the spray pal would be helpful in keeping any gross/funny stories from happening in the first place :)

  124. When I told my mom I wanted to cloth diaper my baby, before I could even tell her how wonderful it is she said "Eww you have to get in the toilet and wash everything and that's gross." I would love to have a Spray Pal to show her I can do it without even throwing up (and she can too)!

  126. Poop spray everywhere would be funny when you are holding on to the diaper with one hand spraying with the other and the diaper goes straight down the toilet because you do not have a good grip on it, now that is just hilarious!

  133. Using my diaper sprayer is one funny story after another... Poo goes flying, on a daily basis - I had to wash my CEILING the other day, and have almost given up, and gone back to the "dunking" method...

  134. My son loves blueberries. His diapers can be quite nasty after and I sprayed one such diaper and got poop on my face. Spraying messy poop is no fun. It is sometimes just part of the job as primary diaper Engineer.I would suggest not doing it regularly.

  138. Funniest was when hubby was shaking out the nighttime poopy diaper in the toilet and I stuffed it with an extra prefold that he didnt notice and it plopped right in the toilet! He accused me of hiding things to booby trap him :)
