My daughter started "showing interest" around 16 months, but now she is 2 1/2 and won't go on the potty so hopefully she will be ready again soon!

2.5 and still working on it at 3
ReplyDeleteWoot! Woot! I love Blueberry!
ReplyDeleteWe just started yesterday with my daughter. She turned two last week. She came up to me and asked to use the potty. Now I guess is the time to be shopping for training pants!
ReplyDeleteI started around age 2 for my daughter but we are still working on it
ReplyDeleteI just bought a potty for my 13 month old, but won't be introducing it until she shows some signs of readiness. She's starting to wake up dry, though, so it might not be as long as I think.
ReplyDelete14-18 months
ReplyDeleteI would like to start introducing him to the potty at around 18 months. However we will see when we get there.
ReplyDeleteIn a couple mts!!
ReplyDeleteWe introduced a potty seat at a little over a year, we just started potty training at 27 months.
ReplyDeleteMy 17 month old is interested in sitting on the potty. He will probably learn fast from watching big brother.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting the process of training my just turned 2 yr old son now!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to try around age two - I've heard boys are usually a little older, but we'll give it a shot.
ReplyDeletearound 2 yrs
ReplyDeleteWe introduced the potty to our home at about 18 months just so it's there whenever she decides to show interest. Now that she is two, we are having her try use the potty more.
ReplyDeleteWhenever my LO starts showing signs of wanting to potty train.
ReplyDeleteAround 10 months for both boys so far
ReplyDeleteI put baby on potty from birth.
ReplyDeleteJedpalau@msn.com
Ill start trying to potty train around 1 - 1.5yo.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of this Christmas break for my current 18m old. He will be 2 years, 3 months. He is just starting to answer me when I ask him if he has a dirty diaper, but isn't saying it independently yet. I might give it a try in August (23m), but I think that will be too early.
ReplyDeleteI'll start to potty train around 1 - 1.5yo.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as my little one is walking I will begin introducing the potty. I feel the earlier to start, the better. I do not want to pressure him to be done by a certain time, just give him the option.
ReplyDeleteWhen she's ready! This is my 6th, and they've all been potty trained at different times, it just depends on the child.
ReplyDeleteWe will probably start introducing the potty to our daughter sometime in her 2nd year depending on her interest and signs of readiness.
ReplyDeleteI'll introduce potty learning when my lo is interested, so we'll see! :)
ReplyDeleteI start the potty with my kids around 18 months or whenever they start to show readiness.
ReplyDeleteI start the potty with my kids around 18 months or whenever they start to show readiness.
ReplyDeleteWE're starting now. Little man is 23 months old.
ReplyDeleteWhen they are ready. She is showing interest now.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a set age to introduce it, it's based on when they seem ready.
ReplyDeleteWe're going to start at 2 years.
ReplyDelete18 months to 2 years depending on their mentality.
ReplyDeleteWe introduced a baby potty when she turned one year old. We don't do anything with it, but it is in the bathroom and she likes to sit on it fully clothed when she is in there.
ReplyDeleteWe started around 18 months with our oldest so probably around the same time with this little one.
ReplyDeleteProbably around 2, unless he shows interest earlier.
ReplyDeleteMy little girl, one and a half. Trained by 2. By special needs son- at 2.. Still working on it at 4.
ReplyDeleteMy son- introduced at 2 still working on it at 4, but he has a physical handicap.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter- introduced by 18mo, trained at 2
We plan to wait until he seems interested!
ReplyDeleteI've started my older 2 kids at potty training 'for real' right around 2 years old, and both of them have been fully trained within a few weeks. However, we start introducing them to the concept of the potty long before that, letting them observe how we use the toilet and get used to the idea. We have a plastic potty so they 'practice' long before anything starts happening. I've got a 6 month old and we'll see, he's clever, maybe he'll start even earlier!
ReplyDeleteI love the Blueberry trainers.
ReplyDeleteSoon I think! Having trouble with ammonia now that we moved and I can't find anything that will fix the problem so far. We're gonna give it a try this summer so probably 20 months or so I think. She'll be 2 in September.
ReplyDeleteWe've already started! We're doing elimination communication part time. I hear blueberry trainers are really good for little bums :)
ReplyDelete18-months! We started when she showed interest!
ReplyDeleteNot near potty training yet but looking forward to using cloth trainers when we do!
ReplyDeleteMy son is 2 years 3 months, im hoping to start in june/july at 2 1/2 years.
ReplyDelete18 months old
ReplyDeleteProbably start trying if he is ready around 18 months. My first potty trained easy at 24 months!
ReplyDeleteProbably around 18mo
ReplyDeleteAs soon as she shows interest!
ReplyDeleteI've heard girls sometimes potty train sooner so I imagine by 2 we will start introducing the idea to her
ReplyDeleteWe plan on starting potty training sometime after two years, or whenever he seems ready (not exactly sure since he's our first).
ReplyDeleteWe plan on starting potty training sometime after two years, or whenever he seems ready (not exactly sure since he's our first).
ReplyDeleteWith my oldest, I tried to potty train way too early... and it complicated the whole process! This time around, I'm letting my LO take the lead!
ReplyDeleteWhen ever my children want to start, usually at age 2.
ReplyDeleteShe started at 14mos and the n stopped. We just started up again now at 22 mos.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like we'll be introducing the potty earlier than I'd expected. She asked to use it yesterday!
ReplyDeleteWe started introducing potty training at 15 months. We're one month away from 24 months now, and still not potty trained, but we haven't exactly demanded it of her yet either. We had a major move and a new baby added to the drama mix during the past few months so we don't want to overwhelm her too much all at once.
ReplyDeleteWe started introducing potty around 2 but my son is 2 and half and we are still working on it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the gender neutral. At this point it is a suprise.
ReplyDeleteSince my DS isn't even born yet and I have zero experience with babies, I can only guess that I will try to introduce him early, maybe 13 months?
ReplyDeleteWe have kind of started showing her but we probably won't start really trying until she starts letting us know she is wet.
ReplyDeleteAbout 2 yrs old
ReplyDeleteWhen he is ready. My 1st didn't start till he was almost 3
ReplyDeleteNow, 2!
ReplyDeleteNow, 2!
ReplyDeleteI am just starting to potty train my 2 1/2 yr old in a couple weeks. I hope all goes well! My older girls were tough to potty train!
ReplyDeleteI'll probably introduce the potty to my son around the age of 2 unless he shows interest earlier. My daughter wasn't interested until almost 3 though.
ReplyDeletewe are getting ready to potty train He's just turning 3 .
ReplyDeleteI want to start at around 2 or 2 1/2 depends on when he is ready
ReplyDeleteAge 2
ReplyDeleteWe started I think before she could even sit up. Now she's 19 months and still not potty trained lol.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a little potty out for a while, and let my son "assist" in flushing poop, and at 2 3/4, we just went full on in PL, and he's doing great! Of course, I'm not confident enough for trips out, so some trainers would be great!
ReplyDeleteIf she has not already showed the signs of potty readiness 2.5 years old. I will follow her lead all babies learn things in their own time not ours. I am trying to respect that I have learned the hard way if your try too soon it backfires.
ReplyDeleteI usually start around 18 mos
ReplyDeleteTwo and a half if my child is ready if not we will wait until closer to three.
ReplyDeleteWe've been asking our first son (almost 2.5 yrs) if he wants to sit on the potty for over a year. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't, but he's never actually gone. Hoping for summertime!
ReplyDeleteI day potty train starting at 18 months to 2 years old. By the time my kids hit 3 they are generally night and day potty trained.
ReplyDeleteI will let my LO let me know when he's ready to try.
ReplyDeleteI am going to try at 18 months.
ReplyDeleteWe introduce the potty at around 2, but don't really push it until they are really showing signs
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure--he's just 13 months right now. Guess I'll wait till he shows some interest
ReplyDeleteWe started introducing our son around 13 months to just sitting on the potty clothed. We had a casual approach and he was pretty well trained by 18 months or so. He's just over 2 now and we only go through 2 diapers a day (nap and bedtime), but we still use trainers...just in case!
ReplyDeleteNot sure of a specific age. He's 19 months and we have introduced the potty and have begun getting him familiar with it, but he's not quite ready to start yet. But soon I think!
ReplyDeleteNot sure of a specific age. He's 19 months and we have introduced the potty and have begun getting him familiar with it, but he's not quite ready to start yet. But soon I think!
ReplyDeleteI will introduce potty training at 2 and see how my LO does.
ReplyDeleteWe started potty training our daughter around age two. No rush!
ReplyDeleteWe started right at 2, but not because it was a magic number. Everything just came together right at two. We love the Blueberry trainers we have! They are the ones we use the most. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trim, similar-to-underwear trainer.
ReplyDeleteI will probably start around 2.
ReplyDeleteMy little one is 2 1/2 and I think it's about time. She's started to show signs of being interested in using the potty.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking we start potty books, ect around 2. Then allow her to move at her own pace, everyone eventually learns toilet training right?!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! These are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI've let my 2.5 year old set his own pace. He became interested around 18 months, but we moved across the country a few months later and it set him back. I'm letting him take his time.
ReplyDeleteI'll happily start as early as my LO shows signs of being ready to PT, I'm hoping by age 2?
ReplyDeleteI think I will start introducing the potty to my first baby when he will be 1 year old! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank You for the great giveaway

When our little one shows signs she is ready!
ReplyDeleteI love cloth diapers!
ReplyDeleteWe will start potty training our fourth baby boy, as soon as he can sit up on his own.
ReplyDeleteWe started late with our prior three boys and regret not starting it earlier.
Honestly, my little ones have been intro'd since ~ 5months...not to say either of them are potty-learned yet, but....
ReplyDeleteAs soon as she shows any interest! Most babies in my family have been potty trained by 16-18 months. So hoping she'll show an interest on her own around then, but we'll get her a potty by then for sure.
ReplyDeleteWe usually try to introduce the potty between 18 mnths and 2 yrs, depending on child's cues.
ReplyDeleteWith my older kids, around 2, they didn't grasp it until around 3 which was fine with me, more time in their adorable fluff!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter started going on the potty at about 2 years and fully potty learned by about 2.5 years. I have no idea how my son will do but I will start when he is ready!
ReplyDeleteTwo! But no luck so far :(.
ReplyDeletemy son is turning 2 next month... and we're introducing the idea now. hes very self aware (thanks to feeling wet in cloth!) so we think hes ready to try!
ReplyDeleteWe don't start potty training until at least 2y 3m or after. Much simpler then, because they are ready.
ReplyDeleteI think around two, but it will depend on him!
ReplyDeleteI'll start introducing the potty around 18 months, but in a low pressure sort of way. In not expecting my little guy to really start potty training until he's about 2 or 2 and a half.
ReplyDeleteWe'll introduce the potty when our little guy shows signs of being ready (pulling up/down his own pants, taking an interest in others' toileting, noticing when he is wet, etc.) We started too early with our daughter and it made it so much more difficult. Lesson learned! :)
ReplyDeleteI plan on PTing my son at 3. Not in a hurry since I'm a SAHM and hopefully by then he can walk on his own so he can sit and get up when doing his business.
ReplyDeletewe introduced the potty at 16 months!
ReplyDeleteI've already at started at 6 months!
ReplyDeleteWhen my lil' man is 2, or when he shows readiness to potty train (if before then) is the plan!
ReplyDeleteAround 18 months.
ReplyDeleteAt about 18 months old :)
ReplyDeleteI will start to potty train whenever she shows an interest.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter randomly decided to use it a few times at 15 months of age...it didn't last long! She is now 23 months and hopefully will be interested again soon.
ReplyDeleteabout 2... if she is interested! lol
ReplyDeleteSome point in the first year! Just to make sure they are aware and not scared of a potty :)
ReplyDeletebetween 2 and 3.. whenever i feel shes ready!
ReplyDeleteWould love to try theses! Great giveaway...thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking soon for DS. He is 25 months but shows little to no interest.
ReplyDeleteWe introduced around 16 months or so, but in a very casual way. At 22 months she's still just learning about the potty, and that's fine.
ReplyDeleteProbably around 2 if she is showing any interest. I don't expect that it will be that early though (my older kids were between 2 1/2 and 3).
ReplyDeleteMy first was about 2 years and 4 months when we started potty training. My second is 21 months old right now. I'm pregnant with our third that is due when our second is 2 years and 3 months old. I'll probably want to wait until the baby is a few months old before I tackle potty training! So maybe 2 1/2?
ReplyDeleteI'm a first timer! This blog has been great so far!
ReplyDeleteWhen my little one shows signs of readiness, hopefully around 2 or 2.5.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as he starts showing interest! Maybe around 2.5?
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is 13 months right now, and I think we will start introducing within the next few months.
ReplyDeleteProbably by the time they are 2 or 3 depending on how clever they are I guess.
ReplyDeleteIt has varied from child to child but usually by 2 y.o.
ReplyDeleteWe casually started showing my gal the potty around 18 months, but didn't push it at all. At 2, she was very interested and did most of the "training" herself. Now we are working on nighttime dryness.
ReplyDeleteWe introduced the potty to my son (and trained him successfully) at 22 months. My daughter is currently 18 months and we will probably do it a bit later for her because she has a gross motor delay. I hope she trains just as easily when the time comes!
ReplyDeleteWe will hopefully start around 18 months like we did with my son :)
ReplyDeleteI started at age two with my son, and would like to begin around that same age for my daughter.
ReplyDeletei think we got one at 18m
ReplyDeleteI want to start potty training as soon as my daughter starts walking.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably start as early as possible, but allow each child to choose when they are truly ready.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as she can walk and talk well enough to try.
ReplyDeletewe started introducing at 18 months and 2 years

ReplyDeleteI started offering the potty before bath time at 18 months.
ReplyDeleteI started offering the potty before bath time at 18 months.
ReplyDeleteI started offering the potty before bath time at 18 months.
ReplyDeleteWe introduced it around 16 months, but a year later we are still having no luck. I wish I had pushed the potty harder before she was 2, because now, it has turned into something of a power struggle, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to let my 2 yr old use the potty or get comfortable sitting on it any way.
ReplyDeleteI will watch LO cues and let her decide when she is ready. Kids potty train when they are ready. My LO has a big personality and I know she will let me know lol.
ReplyDeleteI started introducing the potty to my now 3 year old around the time he was 2. I had no such luck and about 6 or 7 months later he started using it overnight. I have one on the way and will be here next month and I have no plans on a certain age limit. I believe she will do what my son did.
ReplyDeleteI will let LO decide when she is ready. Kids all develop at different rates.
ReplyDeleteWe introduced the potty at about 20 months.
ReplyDeleteWe introduced the potty at about 20 months.
ReplyDeleteJust ordered some potty trainers for my 2 1/2 year old. Time to really start. He knows he's going but just doesn't want to sit on the potty!
ReplyDeleteI have just ordered my first potty trainers for my 2 1/2 y/o. Time to make it happen!
ReplyDeleteAround 12 months :)
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to start potty training my little guy (2yrs) this summer once I am done with school for a bit. He is already waking up dry and lets us know he needs a change so I'm hoping those are positive signs!
ReplyDeleteBetween 2 and 3. Trying to decide if I should start before the next birth in September!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't tried one of these. Looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI plan on starting at 2 or whenever he starts to show interest in potty training, with older sisters who he loves to copy I am sure he will let us know when he is ready.
ReplyDeleteI plan on starting potty training at 2 to 2 and a half & when he starts to show interest in it. With older sisters who he loves to copy he will let us know when he is ready.
ReplyDeleteHurray for Blueberry cloth diaper products!
ReplyDeleteWe are doing it now. He just turned 3
ReplyDeleteI couldnt find the blog post for the question/entry so I will post it here! Im not sure when I will potty train, Im a first time mommy and just learning the ropes.
ReplyDeleteProbably, I will start around 18 months!
ReplyDelete-Hannah Avery
I won a potty in December. I have it out & my son loves to sit on it (almost 22 months) I haven't "tried" yet, but we've already introduced him.
ReplyDeleteAbout 18months sounds ok.
ReplyDelete18months sounds good
ReplyDeleteMY daughter started (and finished) at 27 months. My son has been introduced since about 20 months, he's 28 now and getting more and more interested.
ReplyDelete
