I'm a primagravida of only two months. I am starting to build my stash, and I need all the help I can get.
I didn't cloth diaper my first and we traveled a lot. We bought huggies overnight diapers for the car because regular disposable diapers leak really bad when the kid is in her carseat for more than an hour. We haven't gone on many long car rides with this baby but we tend to use prefolds with econobum covers. We'll have to see how that works out as she keeps getting bigger.

WHen we go to my parents house, we just take our regular stash of pocket diapers... just like at home! When we go anywhere else, it's disposables :(

We are relatively new to cloth so in the past we always used disposables for travel, I don't think trveling with cloth would be too hard though. And even easier with that Flip Daypack.

So far, any traveling we've done has also included easy access to a washing machine, so I've taken my regular stash, mostly BG 4.0's and FB OS. We are taking a weekend trip soon with no access to a washing machine and I'm thinking of trying GroVia Biosoakers so that I don't have to bring home a load of dirty diapers!
I tried to use the grovia inserts in my thirsties covers but they leaked horribly! I definitely want to try the flip disposable inserts and covers because now we use regular disposables. I have never traveled with cloth but maybe next time will be brave enough to try.

To answer the question...disposables! We just started clothe diapers this year...haven't been on a road trip...not til the 2nd weekend of Feb. A little bit nervous for it! Can't wait to see the answers to this one.
For vacation, I have used gdiapers which I did not love as we were at the beach. After that, I just used my bg's and took along my charlie's soap for washing. It has always worked well for us. Would love to be able to use a system that offers a disposable insert though and I gave up on gdiapers 3 children ago.

We have used disposables, disposables with a PUL cover over top, GroBabys and occasionally for a short haul flight a regular diaper (BK fitted and PUL or wool cover).
I find for a long trip I like the disposable and cover, though if I had inserts I would probably use them instead since it is carrying a wet bag of dirties in our limited carry ons that I object too.
Sadly, when I travel I usually use disposable (huggies little snigglers right now) just so I don't have to hassle with laundry on the road.

For day travel or overnight we use our BG4.0. I am traveling for a week and we are using disposables because I can't do laundry where we are and we are doing disposables for ease of use. I wanted to try flip for our trip, but didn't order in time and don't have the money to spend on them right now.

I'm still waiting on my baby to arrive (April), so I'm not sure what my choice will be!
We've only had one multi-night trip, and we just used our regular stash - mostly OS fitteds/covers, and about a dozen OS aios (definitely easier to change when in restaurant bathrooms, etc.)

Our son was 2 months old when we went on our first trip. We figured the first road trip was enough stress...so we used disposables. We did 3 road trips at ages 2,3,4 months and used the sposies. At 5 months I bucked up and took our cloth stash! I stuck with our BG and Flip organic and stay-dry inserts (Flip sposie insert while driving). I left the econobum at home...didn't want to deal with extra bulk. We've stuck with the cloth for traveling ever since! I should also add that all our traveling has to been to relatives homes or a beach rental home...so washer/dryer access was not an issue. I'd be nervous using a public laundry service. We're planning our first family vacation (just the 3 of us) and one of our lodging criteria is to have washer/dryer in our hotel/condo/rental home. :)
I've usually traveled with disposables in the past. Wish I had some hybrids!
We like using AIO's when we're out running errands. Just as easy as a disposable in my opinion.
We just use prefolds and covers when we travel.
I haven't cloth diapered yet, but I think using the flip or grovia covers with disposable inserts will probably be best for us.

Baby's on the way, so no experience yet. I planned on using disposables, but the more I dive into the world of cloth diapering, hybrids sound great!
Disposables. Haven't braved travel with cloth yet.
We actually use Flips a lot of the time. We LOVE the disposable inserts for car trips. I used sposies on the plane and they totally leaked. We are all about Flips now!

I use my Flips with gDiaper inserts. I prefer not to carry a wet bag in my diaper bag which is why I use the gDiapers...so I can toss them. I'd love more FLIP covers, we just don't have enough.

When we travel, we use the same system we use at home--one size pocket diapers--and 2 large wet bags (one for the clean diapers and one for the dirty ones). We have enough diapers for 3-4 days and have never been gone for longer than that.

I've never traveled with cloth yet. Having two in cloth it has seemed a little over whelming at that thought of bring that many diapers along.

We use our normal "stash" pockets, aios, inserts, wool, pretty much a little of everything! I haven't tried disposable inserts yet!

We dont have far to travel so any of our BG 4.0s work, or our flips. Not sure what we will use if we have to travel really far.
