I LOVE my diaper sprayer! It even sprayed meconium off and left my newborn diapers stain free!

I don't have a good method! We use pockets and flushable liners don't always do the job (I won't go into detail here). I have been wanting to try a sprayer...

I currently dunk and swish if the mess is sticky! It is sooo much nicer when the poo is solid and you can just dump it into the toilet!

My newest is only 6 weeks old, so I just throw poo diapers in the wash, but when my 2 year old was still in diapers I would dunk.

We used liners with dd. There is no way that I will spend as much as they cost for one but now that I've found online tutorials, I'll have dh make one for our next baby. Easily done for under $20! Unless of course I win this one!! LOL But we'll still need one for the 2nd bathroom.

Question of the week: We clean poo by rinsing them in our utility sink. Our LO is still mostly BF so they rinse easily. When they are more formed we might dunk in the toilet or look into (or win :-) ) a diaper sprayer.
fmgrice2(at)yahoo(dot)com

Becca said...

my LO's BMs are pretty sticky - but in a good way - the poo all sticks together and shakes right off into the toilet. my husband takes them out back and hoses them off though! i think we need a sprayer!!!

Right now our washer can handle the diapers. My son is mostly breastfed, but we unfortunately have to suppliment formula because I can't produce enough.

We use soy formula, so his poos are getting thicker since its technically food... not milk, so we will be needing a sprayer!
