Spring Diapers

Ahhh, spring is in the air. Our lilies are sprouting and the sun is beckoning us outside again. Time to hang the diapers on the line, let the little ones show off their fluff, and snap those spring photos.

Cloth diapers lend themselves perfectly to spring and Easter themed photo shoots. The bright colors offered by many retailers beg to be photographed. Pick out a diaper, sprinkle about some Easter Eggs, add a stuffed bunny, and you have instant cute. Cloth diapered bottoms and fresh flowers can also make for frame worthy photos. Here are some diapers that would be adorable in spring photo shoots, or just popping out from under those spring dresses.

Kawaii offers some adorable spring prints. Lime Dotty, Aqua and Cerise Aloha; Chartreuse, Fuchsia, and Glacier Willow; Lemon Cashew; Yellow Sunflower; and Sakura Festival are all bright and springy. They also have some fun solids: Carnation Pink; Pastel Blue and Yellow; and Fluorescent Green all look like they belong on Easter eggs.

BumGenius and Flip have always offered beautiful colors. They could all easily pop out of the Easter basket and blend in during an egg hunt. Maybe your little bunny will be sporting Grasshopper, Mirror, or Sassy this spring? The new Countess and Hummingbird prints also make us want to get outside in the sun. Noodle, Bubble, and Sweet are the ultimate soft pastels.

Thirsties is another line with fresh, fun colors. Even the names sound like spring with all the thoughts of planting fresh fruits and veggies – Aqua, Celery, Honeydew, Mango, and Orchid. The colors are as refreshing as the names.

Rumparooz even has a diaper named Spring along with several other spring inspired colors – Sunshine and Tulip. Charlie, Gumball, and Peacock would also be spring appropriate.

Blueberry’s Butterflies offers pops of green, flowers, and of course butterflies. Kiwi is bright and green.
Grovia’s Citrus, Persimmon, Surf, Drift, and Poppy are all gorgeous spring picks. Their coordinating baby legs up the cute factor even more while making it easy to show off your baby’s fluffy bum and spread the word about cloth diapers.

AppleCheeks offers bright picks too. The new Pink About It is a perfect spring dress accessory. Coriander, Forget Me Not, Lemon Zest, Orange You Glad, and Raspberry Sorbet put our minds back to fresh spring treats like Thirsties.

Best Bottoms offers some fun with trims that coordinate with their diaper colors and prints. Key Lime Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, and Orange Sorbet are some of their brightest. Best Bottoms even let potty training toddlers get in on the fun with their Bubblegum, Coconut, and Pistachio training pants.

Bottombumpers limited edition spring prints are of course pretty and appropriately named Showers and Flowers. These diapers offer contrasting snap colors for a pop of color.

Bummis Pistachio Dot is the perfect spring diaper cover. And can also be purchased in a training pant for your tots. Of course their swim diapers are also bright and fun, although it might be just a bit chilly to start wearing them yet.

Imagine Baby is another line that offers coordinating baby legs. Flutter is a fun butterfly print. Marigold and Emerald are deep, bright colors. And the soft yellow Trumpet with baby elephants is very spring.

All of the colors in Moraki’s Candy Snap collection are beautiful. The pops of color from the snaps look like a bowl full of candy just as the name suggest. Their Lavender and Hippie diapers are also a nice bright canvas of color. And don’t forget their ruffles – the perfect under dress diaper.

Of all spring diapers, simple flats or prefolds with pins make for some of the most bucolic and frame worthy photos. Just image a photo of your baby donning a simple prefold, sitting in the grass, a basket of diaper laundry and a few stray clothes pins around them. It paints such a serene picture.

Diapers have come a long way from those simple prefolds and flats. With all these options (and the many not listed), there is sure to be a cloth diaper out there so suite your spring photo shoot.
