Favorite Brands

I only have about 4 of the same brand of diaper in my stash. With that said, I have about 13 brands, so I have many diapers. I always like to try new diapers as well, just to see how they perform. With this experience, I do have some favorite brands.

First off, when people ask me about what to try, I actually recommend one of the most popular diapers there is: bumGenius. These are the work horses in the cloth diaper world. I feel like they are reliable, reasonably priced, and really cute. The velcro is my husband's favorite, but their snapped closure lasts long. They also are sized pretty well and easily work with different sized babies. Most users don't have any problems with this diaper. It is one of my favorites and the one that I have 4 of. I have also seen bumGenius diapers sold at retailers like Buy Buy Baby and BabyTown. So they are very accessible as well.

The diaper underneath bumGenius is Kawaii. These diapers remind me of bumGenius, but are less expensive. They perform pretty well and are my go-to for night-time diapering. They also have a little more option in terms of colors and patterns.

I also recommend SmartiPants. This diaper still looks in great shape and I'm using it for the third round! What I like about this diaper is that there are openings for the diaper to slide out. I don't need to pull it out like I do my bumGenius and Kawaii.

My current favorite diaper is Bottombumpers. It has a side closure that makes for such a trip fit. It also fits my month old baby and my 1 year old son. That's pretty impressive for a diaper. The downside to this diaper is that it's pretty expensive and you have to get it tight enough on the baby to ensure there are no leaks. But I can grab three of these diapers and be out the door because it easily fits and snaps up and down to fit both boys. This diaper is also considered an all-in-one diaper. The insert snaps in so it's not exactly an all-in-one but I love how I can grab it and go. It also doesn't take a long time to dry like other all-in-one diapers .

There are so many brands and I hear of new ones all the time, so it can be confusing, but from a veteran cloth diaperer, I'd pick from these.

The pert where you mentioned this about bumgenius "These are the work horses in the cloth diaper world. I feel like they are reliable, reasonably priced, and really cute. The velcro is my husband's favorite, but their snapped closure lasts long." I kind of chuckled! Because I love it as well due to its cuteness! LOL We all get overly meticulous when it comes to stuff like this. But details like how cute it will look on my child, I also consider!
