What a great giveaway! I love Bamboobies!
My advice is relax. I never had any issues Bfing my first child my first child had sever reflux and was put on formula at 4 months. My cousins kid had an overbite and she had to pump for years. My child is fine her child and her boobs are fine. just relax dont let the psycho BF nazis get to you. Learn your rights and dont let anyone make you feel bad wither you bf exclusively walk around with bottles or w your boobs out. Your life is not their life and a passing stranger cant determine how you parent your child!

It gets easier!
It really does get easier eventually! :)
remember that it gets easier! in the early days when i was so exhausted i would ask myself, "can i handle this next feeding?" i wouldn't let myself think ahead past that ONE more feeding. it helped me keep from feeling overwhelmed, & i was always able to answer "yes."
Ask lots of questions and don't be shy there is nothing out there that another mommy hasn't dealt with
take advantage of lactation consultants, nurses who know what they are doing, or friends who have been there before! the hand on help is the best kind :)
it is hard... have a support system in place. You will need all the help and support you can get!
My best piece of advice is to set a goal for a length of time you want to breastfeed and then re-evaluate at that time. (Something reasonable - 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks - not 1 year) Do whatever you can in that time frame to keep breastfeeding, it is easier to keep at it when you have a goal.
Cannot wait to breast feed this new baby in a few months!
my advice is to Stop Stressing over it! you n baby will be much more comfortable and feeding better if you just relax and enjoy.
Hang in there! It's worth it!
Excited to read advice from experienced mommas.
Drink lots of water and trust your body, its capable of more than you give it credit for.

My piece of advice is that there is always help if there are problems. Private lactation consultants, lactation consultants at the hospital you gave birth at, La Leche League leaders, they all want you to succeed.
I love my bamboobies!
Enjoy it, it only last for awhile.
Don't give up! The first few weeks are the hardest.
Find a support group so you have women to go to when you have questions come up.
My best advice would be don't give up no matter how hard it seems. My first wouldn't latch so I was so discouraged I didn't even try with my 2nd this time around I am def doing it no other choices!
My breastfeeding advice would be: sometimes it just doesn't work and it's not your fault. Everything can go "perfectly" from the first latch and then for whatever reason you have to stop. Don't beat yourself up. When you've done everything you can and it still isn't working, it's ok to stop. You have to do what's best for not only your baby but you too.

RELAX! Your supply is most likely fine :)
My advice would be to not be afraid if it hurts, especially at first. Your body needs to get used to performing its new task.
Stick with it. It's really hard at first but so worthwhile.

being that I'm a first time mom I have no advice.
The best advice I can give is until you milk comes in and your sure of your supply just nurse. All day every two hours. Hold your baby and sleep with your baby with your breasts out.
I haven't started breastfeeding yet since we don't have a baby yet. But I have been told by lots of people I need to give myself some slack and relax about the breastfeeding.
I would say to put in your birth plan you want to only breast feed.
To make it clear in your birth plan you want to only breast feed!
Don't stress yourself out. It will come to you. Your body is made for this. The little bit of pain you may feel at the beginning to be over shortly and you little bundle of joy will reap all of the wonderful benefits. Don't be afraid to ask for help, lactation consultants are available everywhere. You will love the special bond you form with your little one.
My advice for breastfeeding is don't be afraid to get ask for help (it's not always natural and rarely easy) and know what's normal for a breastfed baby (too many compare to formula fed babies and think something's wrong when it's not).
To see an IBLC if they are having problems. And to get a lot of rest.
My one piece of advise is to not give up! It's hard and it may seem like it will never get easier but it will and it's so worth it!!
Just starting my cloth diapering journey. Loving it so far, and I cannot wait to build my stash!

Lactation consultants are amazing or just find support
One piece of advice to give a new bf mom is to not give up! It's really tough in the beginning and taxing since your so exhausted! But it gets easier. Just make sure you tap into your local support group/lactation consultant for encouragement and support
Hang in there! It will get better. See a lactation consultant within the first few days if you can.
BEFORE delivering, like as soon as you get to the hospital, request a lactation consultant. They can help a ton and get you through the first days. Then give it at least 6 weeks. Weeks 1-6 are rough but week 7 gets better.
My advice would be to stay calm and use your mommy instinct. Most babies will let you know when they want to eat and how much, don't make things more complicated than they need to be. Quality mommy/baby time is important just like feeding baby is - but a fussy mama can make a fussy baby.
stay calm and go by baby's cues and your mommy instinct!
I had to EP for my first child (hoping not to with the next!) and I still needed cream, pads, etc. I was caught by surprise needing these things. I also found out I was allergic to the wool in lanolin!
Keet at it!
Breastfeeding is natural, but doesn't necessarily come naturally. It takes patience and endurance from both mama and baby.
Breastfeeding isn't always easy, but it IS always worth it!
Would love to win some free stuff thank you!
It can be harder than you expect! Emotionally and physically.
I have heard so many good things about these! I would love to try them here within the next month preparing for baby to arrive! :)
My one piece of advice would be that young breastfeeding babies take a long time to nurse, and they nurse often. It does not mean your milk supply is low if your baby is nursing all the time - it just means theyre growing :)
persevere.
Although I won't have any breastfeeding experience until December, the best advice I have received is to not give up! It's not always easy and most women give up out of frustration even if they are physically able to do it.
Breastfeeding may not come to mom and baby naturally, but it is SO worth it! Stick to it, you'll be so glad you did.
Yay! Would to win this.
I've loved breastfeeding all 4 of my children (including twins!), but at the beginning, when you aren't sleeping and everything hurts and your husband is soundly sleeping while you're up with the baby for the third time that night, it is hard. Just know that it gets better, and if it's not getting better, asking for help can make a big difference.
My advice would be to not give up too easily, but also, don't beat yourself up if things don't turn out the way you thought they would! I experienced quite a bit of pain nursing my first baby and Soothies Gel Pads that can be cooled in your refrigerator offered me a little relief.
Have people that are supportive of breastfeeding and go to LLL meetings before and after the baby is born.
trust your body and your baby
Give up caring about what other people think. With my first baby... at social events that I "thought" the group of people did not approve of breastfeed in public- I would hid to breastfeed and miss out on visiting with people. This time around - I'm going to NIP - no matter the crowd I'm im.
Don't believe the "good latches will NOT HURT" comment. This is true of ESTABLISHED breastfeeding relationships, but my children both had PERFECT latches (even according to the LCs that came by) and I was in EXCRUCIATING pain for the first 2 weeks after my first child was born. It became less and less painful until it didn't hurt at all after 5 weeks. I didn't have cracked or bleeding nipples, I just had very SENSITIVE nipples and they hadn't gotten accustomed to nursing yet. It hurt again when my 2nd was born, but only for a little under 2 weeks. After that is established well, any pain is not normal (or you got bit... sorry, mama!)
Don't give up, even though there may be days where you want to! It's so rewarding if you keep trying!
If you are having doubts, or thinking of giving up, call a lactation consultant. I had a lot of issies at first. It took 4 seperate lac. consultants multiple calls & one meeting to get through those first few wks. Each consultant contributed pieces of valuable info. Breastfeeding is now wonderful & amazing when at first I dreaded the pain & couldn't understand why I couldn't get it right. Take it easy on yourself. Get help from family/friends AND pros. It is sooo worth it after a few wks!!!
Stick with it!
Even when nursing is hard, keep at it, and you will find your groove. I had a tough time the first time nursing (but still nursed 13 months), and am looking forward to breastfeeding again!
I don't have any advice b/c I'm due with our first in 3 weeks. My friends have told me to be flexible, seek out a lactation consultant, and push through the first forty days. :-)
I have not tried any of these yet.
I can't give advice, as I am not due for two more weeks with our first! But, I am excited to breastfeed and can't wait to cloth diaper our baby!
Breastfeeding can be painful, but it gets better with time. Don't give up!
Breastfeeding has been a huge blessing since I had to go back to work so soon after baby was born. It has helped keep the connection strong between us even though we spend time apart. :)
Love love love these washable breast pads :)
My advice- don't be afraid to ask for help, and don't assume that it's always easy! There are many things that can go wrong with breastfeeding, but there a lot of solutions, too- you just need to know where to look and who to ask. Don't give up! (And if you just can't breastfeed, pumping is great too.) :)
Never give up! (breast feeding tip)
Ask your lactation consultant for help!!
Ask your lactation consultant for help if you need it!!
be patient!!

I would tell a nursing mother not to give up. It's really tough the first few weeks but it does get better.
Breastfeeding can be hard at first but it is worth it. Always feed on demand as it the best way to build your milk supply.
I would tell them to stick with it. It gets easier!
I just bought these (overnight versions) & I love them! It would be great to have a couple regulars also!
I'd tell them not to give up! I knew I wanted to breastfeed for as long as possible, and read up a ton on it before Little Guy was born, but then trying to do it in real life was so different! I swallowed my pride and went to see a lactation nurse - she was so helpful in actually going through an entire feeding with me (instead of just a few minutes, like the lactation consultants in the hospital) and gave me so much confidence that I could adequately feed and nourish my baby. I would say that between she and my doula, I survived labor, delivery and post partum! Okay, we'll give my husband some props in there, too. ;)
Best advice is too keep trying! I had a cracked nipple and wanted to scream for the first six weeks. Once we got the hang of it, no issues and at 9 months!
My advice would be to make sure you have healthy, quick snacks and lots of water! If you can, have someone available who can bring you a glass of water and a snack while you are nursing.
Don't give up! Even if the difficult period is longer than you expected, it WILL get better, and the payoff is so worth it!
love the idea of these...would love to try them out. :)
One piece of advice would be to not give up! Whatever you can do--be it full-time, supplementing or pumping with bottle feeding--is great for your baby and yourself! Keep at it, mamas!

My one piece of advice for breastfeeding is to not give up! It will be hard at first but will get much easier!!
never give up is my advice! stick with it till the end!!!
never give up! stick it out til the end!!
It takes time and practice for mom and baby to learn to breast feed. Keep at it!
Don't give up. I had to find the right position and way to latch before it was comfortable and satisfying to baby. It was worth the pain and trials to give my son the best start possible.
My sister loves these and I want to use them when I start breastfeeding.
my sister loves these and I want to use them when my little one gets here.
i would tell them to not give up just because things get a little hard.
Just try. Even if you only give the baby one feeding it's better then not trying.

Don't give up! It is really hard the first several weeks and it can be hard enough that you may want to quit. If you really want to breastfeed, make it through those first few weeks and it'll be one of the best things you do! And a second piece would be to see a lactation consultant if you think anything at all is wrong. It's worth it!
I suggest mothers that want to breastfeed find people who support their decision; it could be their child's father, other family members, friends, a LLL group, or even a chat group on Facebook. Oh, and drink water... lots of water!
The cramping in the beginning is not fun but it will get better.
Have patience! The first few days of your baby's life they aren't starving so don't feel like if breastfeeding isn't working right off the bat that you are neglecting them!
Breastfeeding is not easy, but it is so worth it.
