Product Focus : FuzziBunz Diapering Accessories

A couple of weeks ago we received our shipment of FuzziBunz Accessories in stock. We have been so busy the past weeks that all hands were on deck and that included me. Usually I am sitting behind the computer but for a few nights I came down to the shop and worked at night putting stock away.

I opened the first box of accessories of FuzziBunz accessories and was so pleasantly surprised. First of the the quality is phenomenal. The second thing I noticed that the colors were so bright and the fabrics used are such high quality.

I especially loved the new "Apple Green" Color of the FuzziBunz Zippered Tote Bag. (We hope that the "Apple Green" will make its way into diapers soon!) The size of the tote bag is a bit different than other wet bags that we carry. It is a nice square type size measuring 12.75" x 12.75". On the front of the bag is the cute FuzziBunz name. The zippered is actually hidden under some material.

The wipes that we received are already flying out the door. We are already out of a couple of varieties. The most popular variety is the FuzziBunz. The combo pack comes with 5 organic cotton wipes (Made with 100% organically grown cotton and produced without the use of pesticides, chemicals or dyes.) and 5 organic cotton/fleece wipes.

The FuzziBunz Changing Pads are perfect for the diaper bag or changing table. They are made of one side soft knit polyester and the other side either a fleece -or- organic cotton option. The FuzziBunz Mattress Pads are great for babies crib or for the "family bed" if you are co-sleeping with your baby.

My favorite accessory is the new FuzziBunz In and Out Mess Free Bag. It is a pail liner that you can hang on a door knob or hook. You put dirty diapers and accessories in the top of the bag and on wash day just unzip the bag and the contents go right into the machine without having to touch anything!! I suggest if you are using any type of pocket diapers to remove the inserts from the diaper before you put in the bag. (By removing inserts from the diaper you also reduce the chance of having any odor problems.)

The last thing that I noticed is that they are beautifully packaged with product description, fabric content, and wash instructions. This makes gift giving super easy. I know many diapering products don't come with packaging but if you are giving some cloth wipes or wet bag that aren't packaged (for example) to someone who never cloth diapered before they aren't really going to know what to use them for.

FuzziBunz In and Out Mess Free Diaper BagA truly unique diaper storage system and one every cloth diapering parent should have. Hang on any hook or doorknob and you have a portable no fuss diaper bag that is convenient and eliminates the whole need for a "pail" system. Simply fill the diapers up from the top opening and unzip the bottom to let them out into the wash. Wash diapers and the bag altogether - NO MESS! Can be used for years to come as a cute laundry bag for storing and washing dirty clothing once diaper days are over.

FuzziBunz Changing PadsFuzziBunz Changing Pads are super sized compared to other changing pads to protect your precious one from the elements. Fits nicely to protect car seats or bassinets. They come in a variety of colors and in either Organic Cotton or Fleece as the top coating. Wipes clean. Folds up compact to fit in any diaper bag for the mom or dad on the go. The Changing Pad measures 27.75in. x 18.5in. (69.35cm x 46.25cm.) when open and folds small so that it fits inside most diaper bags.

FuzziBunz Organic Cotton WipesWonder Wipes are a great addition to your reusable diapering system! Made with 100% organically grown cotton and produced without the use of pesticides, chemicals or dyes. The cotton buds grow in natural shades of cream, brown and green - hand-picked to make pure, soft cotton. Use FuzziBunz(tm) Wonder Wipes to clean your baby's bottom gently and naturally. No landfill waste. Each wipe is 9in. x 9in. (22.5cm. x 22.5cm.)

FuzziBunz COMBO Pak WipesFuzziBunz Wipes are a great addition to your reusable diapering system! Made with 100% organically grown cotton and produced without the use of pesticides, chemicals or dyes. The cotton buds grow in natural shades of cream, brown and green - hand-picked to make pure, soft cotton. Use FuzziBunz(tm) Wipes to clean your baby's bottom gently and naturally. No landfill waste.

FuzziBunz Double Sided WipesFuzzi Bunz Double Sided Wipes are made partly from organic cotton and partly from fleece produced without the use pesticides, chemicals, or dyes. The cotton buds grow in natural shades of cream, brown, and green - hand picked to make pure, soft cotton. Use FuzziBunz Double-Sided Wipes to clean your babys bottom gently and naturally.

FuzziBunz Zippered Diaper ToteDiaper Tote provides a secure and convenient way for you to store your soiled FuzziBunz(tm) when on the go. Simply put your dirty FuzziBunz(tm) diaper into the diaper tote, zip the top and then store until you can transfer the diaper and tote into your diaper pail at home.

FuzziBunz Mattress PadWhat a versatile pad! Forget just protecting your crib from messes - it will do that and more. Use while you and baby are breastfeeding to not only keep you dry but your bedding too. Also make a great baby massage mat. Materials: 100% micro fleece (top layer), 100% polyester laminated (waterproof bottom layer). Comes in either 100% organic cotton topping for a smooth feeling against the skin, or topped with polar fleece for a luxurious stay dry feeling for both mom and baby.

FuzziBunz Nursing PadsKeep breast-feeding wetness to a minimum with FuzziBunz Nursing Pads. With one layer of super soft stay dry fleece, and 2 layers of absorbent flannel and one optional layer of leak free fabric you are sure to keep embarrassments at bay and keep a healthy moisture level to keep infections down. Available in Leak Free and Regular.

FuzziBunz Micro Terry InsertsFuzziBunz Micro-Terry Inserts are made of 4 layers of super soft micro-fiber terry cloth. Fiber content of this material is a poly/rayon blend. Micro-inserts do away with any bulk that may have been associated with cloth diapers. Micro-inserts make Fuzzi Bunz (or any other pocket diaper) super absorbent and super trim at the same time. One insert is all one will need for a daytime diaper. At nighttime, we do recommend using two inserts for maximum absorbency.

A litte bit about FuzziBunz and the inventor:
Fuzzi Bunz was invented by a mom like you! Tereson Dupuy founded Fuzzi Bunz in 1999 (almost 10 years ago!) after her middle son, Eden, suffered from chronic diaper rash. Chemicals in disposables irritated his skin and the clunky cloth diapers didn't keep him dry. Fed up, Tereson invented Fuzzi Bunz and has never looked back! Today, Tereson lives in Louisiana with her three children, Sarah, Eden and Bennett, and continues to run the business.

Wow, lots of new neat stuff. I can't wait to check out the new Green Apple color. I noticed on KC that the OS diaper will be available in that color..any idea when those will be stocked? I'm so anxious to try one out.

I'm intrigued by the wetbag-love the colors. I'm currently using 2 large Planetwise for my diaper pails. I need a smaller one for my diaperbag. How many diapers do you think the FB wetbag could hold?

I really enjoy Fuzzi Bunz diapers and love the wide array of colors they come in. Plus, I love the snaps, which are a big plus as my daughter has learned to open the aplix on other brands. And I have a small addiction to wet bags, to go along with my cloth diaper addiction. I think I may be purchasing one of these (that is, if I don't win!)

I haven't made the leap to cloth wipes yet... but these make them seem not bad at all.

What an amazing post! I love learning about other CD brands....even if it makes my desision of which diapers to use so much harder!

I've never tried FB because I heard they didn't fit skinny babies well, but the new adjustable ones sound awesome and all of those accessories are great.

The first thing I thought when I saw that In and Out Mess Wet Bag? TRAVEL! This would be a great travel laundry bag because you can hang it on the door and wouldn't have to think about dragging along a diaper pail (not even really possible if travelling by plane).

The changing pad sounds so nice - I love our FB diapers so I'm sure their accessories are just as well made. The apple green is adorable - I bought a one-size diaper in that color.

I can't wait to try the nursing pads and especially the changing pads! It is about time someone came out with a super sized changing pad- the normal size is so impractical!

Anelys, love the St Pat's theme...Illyas makes a fine spokesperson:-)

Question: For those of you who own the hanging pail liner, would like to know how it holds up. I've found that some of the "hanging" types don't hold up too well when the bag is full of diapers (heavy/soaked diapers); i.e., the seams around the handles begin to rip/burst.

Angela Sundara... etc said...

In the food world packaging is a bad thing with an annoying extra pricetag just because it looks pretty. But you're so right about the benefits in the cloth diaper world. It makes gift giving easier and nicer, and I just plain enjoy getting some fluff that arrives in a nice package. I don't know why I find that special, but I do.

Erika said...

thanks for the product reviews....i'm loving the mess free in/out bag! how cool is that?!?

i didn't realize that fuzzi bunz had so many wonderful products!!

Wow for new products! Thanks for the comment about taking the inserts out of the pocket dipes to minimize stink issues - I couldn't figure out why my wetbag smelled so soon the other day, but I had been lazy and not taken out most of the inserts out those couple days! Makes sense to me now.

Wow, look at all of those products! I think I am going to order a bag for my mom for the pool- she was drooling over my wet bag. The apple green one may just fit the bill. :)

It is hard to tell from the picture on the shop website, but what is the closure on the top of the "In and Out Mess Free Diaper Bag"? I know it has a zipper on the bottom but is the top a drawstring or is that a zipper too? I'll be curious to read the reviews on this item or hear from someone who tests it out since it sounds like a nifty idea but I'm wondering how well smells can be contained by the bag and whether you might get some leaking from the zipper on the bottom.

I think the nursing pads with the fleece layer sound very comfortable! Although I am past the point where I need them, I'd love to try them with my next baby. I was really disappointed with the disposable paper-y ones...they crunched and bunched and were not very good.

I can't wait until the the new FB OS 2.0's are available. We have 4 of the FB OS that are available now and I seriously love them and the thigh snap would just make them perfect. I am seriously thinking about replacing my entire BG stash with these and that is over 45 BG diapers!

Love the new products...would love to try the mattress pad. I've never had a wetbag and don't know if I want to start a new addiction from the way everyone raves about them.

I love my FB's so I'm sure these are all GREAT products.

I had some trouble with some new style XL fuzzi bunz and they sent me new ones and added additional inserts for my troubles. They were an excellent company to work with!

I am so excited about the fuzzi bunz changing pad. I hate my changing pad that comes with my diaper bag. The fuzzi bunz pad looks so soft and I like how you can throw it in the wash.
