mmhhh I went back at 12 weeks, it was pretty quick for me, but not sure if it is what you're looking for.
8 weeks on both. Is that "quickly" It felt quick.
I'm pregnant with my first, and due to complications requiring me to take time off now to prolong the pregnancy, I'll only be able to take 6 weeks off before going back to work. Of course, none of this has happened yet, but I'm curious to see what you may find out!

Oh my goodness, Upstatemomof3 I'm interested in how it all worked out for you. Have you written about that anywhere? I'd love to read about it
I had to go back at 6 weeks and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. To this day I hate the fact that I'm the sole bread winner. I should be a proud working Momma, but I miss my kiddo too much (and my job isn't the best). Oh well, better than being homeless.

Im a dance teacher and I went back to work 6 weeks after my 4 week early c section . I have about 150 dance students and was prepairing for 3 dance recitals . my 2nd son was born feb 28 and I had a recital in April, May , and June .I was so super busy inside and outside the home. I still dont know how I did it .
I went back after 12 weeks, but not because I had to, but because I loved my job and felt guilty that I had gotten a Bachelor's, then a Master's, degree and would not "use" it if I didn't work. However, I quickly discovered that I would MUCH rather have been raising my son! I miss him so much, and I think it was the stress of work that made me lose my milk supply at 6 months. Anyway, don't know if that's what you are looking for, but it's my story!
to upstatemomof3--I am so in awe of your dedication to mommyhood and to your profession! it must have been so difficult to go to work so quickly. Don't know that I would have been able to do it! You are definitely a supermomma!! :)
I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and in medical school. My son is due 3 days before I have to return to classes (I have a short summer break). My husband will be leaving his job to stay home because taking a break from school is not an option for me.
I have spent considerable time figuring out how we can afford to have this baby (our first) with me going to school full time.
The initial cost of cloth diapering can be shocking at first, but the overall cost savings, in addition to the environmental impact, is enough that we have stocked up on prefolds and covers for during the day and pocket dipes for at night.
