I have only used velcro, BUT... DD took her diaper off for the first time this morning. She was so proud...and luckily it wasn't too much of a mess. So, I think I am in the market for some snap dipes...much to DH's dismay

I think I prefer the snaps over aplix. I worry about the aplix wearing out and getting all "pilly."
Snaps over aplix.
I prefer snap closure. It doesn't snag on clothing or skin, don't have to worry about hooking the laundry tabs back, don't have to worry about it snagging in the washer or dryer, baby isn't able to undo it as easily, and the snaps last much longer!
aplix are my favorite because they are the easiest!
I tweeted today!

I really love the name of the diapers! Rumparooz is too cute! I am a huge fan of snaps, but I will use whatever cloth diapers I can get my hands on. I have been scraping my stash together from sales, seconds and gifts.
My baby doesn't fit in her snap diapers yet, but I love aplix so far!

I can't wait to try a rumparooz! Snaps look a lot better to me than velcro.
I think we are going to be a aplix family but we have both so we shall see. It just seems to make more since and be easier...

We prefer snap since Mila has figured out how to take off her velcro diapers!

I do prefer the aplix but I do wish it was more durable like the snaps. The aplix gives a better fit.

aplix all the way! its hard enough to get my 2 year old to be still during a diaper change without having to worry about lining up snaps! the only thing i dont love is the inevitable diaper chain... : )

I just started using pocket diapers on my 3 yr old for overnights. I bought a couple Bumgenius with aplix and a couple FuzziBunz with snaps. Overall, I'm really loving the snaps for this age. They look ADORABLE, and I don't have to worry about getting after daddy to fasten the laundry tabs! I think for a newer baby the convenience of the aplix would be nice, though, even if it would need to be replaced in the diaper's lifetime.
I don't like having to deal with laundry tabs for aplix - snaps are much easier to care for.

I prefer the snaps because they last longer. The aplix tends to fray.

I like snapps the best. I think when my daughter gets older it will be harder for her to undo
So far we are a snaps family. I bought a sample pack of snap diapers and I really like them!
I love my snap closure diapers because they stay "fresh" longer. Aplix fits great, but when the velcro starts getting yucky, there's not much to be done!
gitrecca at gmail dot com
I do like the aplix closure, but as time wears on it wears out. I think that the next batch of diapers I need to purchase I will do snap closure.

I use both, and it really depends both on the diaper and the child wearing them as to which I like better. But I will say I am using more snaps these days just because that is what I have out.

I LOVE snap diapers. They are just so much more clean looking & don't collect gross lint.

Daily Post: Snaps...snaps....snaps...I never thought I'd say that, but I like snaps so much better. Once they're on, my son can't take them off. It's wonderful.
Wish I could have both on this question...but if I had to choose, I probably stick (ha) with aplix. One of my diapers has snaps and I've run into the problem where one setting was too tight but the next down was too loose. I've been CDing for six months now with our current stash and so far the aplix is holding up.

I prefer aplix for the ease of putting the diaper on the baby, but I also prefer snaps for the ease of putting the diaper in the laundry. My husband actually prefers the snaps bc he finds the aplix hard to separate from the laundry tabs... just one more way men and women are different!

It seems like OS more often come in snaps. I wonder why that is. Fitteds also seems to mostly come in snaps (though I understand that one). My LO is due in JAN it so it may depend on the type of cloth I end up using which I prefer...

so funny, I was just debating this. Aplix fits a wider range and is faster and easier. I like it better. But... my baby is learning how to take them off....
Had to comment on "20% off bum genius" post, too! Good deal.
I like snaps because I feel like the velcro is stiff on her stomach when she's sitting.
I like snaps better, because they don't wear out like aplix. I like the look of snaps better too.

I like the snap closures best. I have had a lot of bad luck with the aplix and them never staying latched and my 12 month old has a LOT of fun undoing them!!
I asked DH the other day which he likes best and he surprised me by saying the snaps! SO I will not be purchasing any dipes with aplix from now on.

Right now we are choosing to use snaps because they are more durable. We'd like our dipes to last through baby #2. BUT I have to say there are times when I miss the convenience of aplix!

Aplix/velcro is definitely easier and provides a more accurate fit. However, I am starting to prefer snaps because I feel they will last longer.

Daily Post: When I first started cloth diapering, I thought I would alwyas like aplix the best because they're more like disposables. After doing it awhile though, I definitely like snaps better. My son takes his aplix diapers off all the time. Plus, I want to have more kids, so durability is a factor.
I commented on It's Guest Blogger Time! post.
I have tended toward snaps lately since I am mainly using pockets now and really am not so happy with my BG 3.0 because everytime I wash them I have to pull them apart from something else since the aplix won't stay on the laundry tabs. But I loved my aplix Wonder Whisper Wraps when I use prefolds. Never had any problem with them in the laundry.
Put out a Tweet this morning...

I prefer snaps, I am new to cloth diapering, so i have been trying a couple diff. ones & I feel like it is easier to wash and will last longer with the snaps.
I have a feeling we will like aplix more but we do have lots of snaps as well. We will have to see when the LO arrives.
I prefer aplix. I have not had any of the issues others have complined about plus it get a much more custom fit! GO APLIX!!!!

I think that snaps can be intimidating ... especially with how many are on some one-size, but they fare much better through washings.
I definitely prefer snaps over aplix because of the durability of them, the fact that they don't scratch my baby, and that I don't have to worry about making sure that helpful friends/family put the velcro on the laundry tabs so they don't snag everything. I just recently sold all my used aplix diapers in order to invest in snaps.

I really prefer a snap closure. I don't like the way the hook and loop get so worn so fast. I wish more diapers had snaps! Plus, they're not as easy for my LO to undo!

Snaps don't irritate sensitive skin.
I like snaps best. They are harder for the little guy to get off, and they don't cause as many problems in the wash.

I prefer aplix because I always get a tight fit.

I prefer snaps, hands down. They don't wear out like aplix, and they are much harder for a child to open.
I posted a comment on "It's Guest Blogger Time!"
I like the aplix closure, but they do show wear easily. I think next time I buy a stash of dipes I am going with snaps :-)
I love both, but for different reasons. Aplix because I get a better fit, and snaps, because my daughter can't undo them

I've never used a snap, only have aplix. I love the ease of aplix but they are starting to show their age, i think with the next baby we'll invest in some snaps to try out. I hope to win!
