With the growing success and popularity of cloth diapers, Parent Tested Parent
Approved Media (PTPA Media) has recently released their list of cloth diaper PTPA
2009 Winners!
According to the PTPA Media website, the purpose of PTPA is to provide an “objective
means to discover, appraise and promote new products designed to enrich family
living. Products range from baby clothing, toys and accessories to parent-centric
creations that enhance day to day life.”
For those who cloth diaper (or considering cloth), the comfy softness cloth diapers
provide is undeniable! However, we know all too well that choosing the right cloth
diaper for your little one can be a daunting task!
In announcing their winners, PTPA says, “There's a world of eco-friendly, reusable
diapers out there — from liners to inserts, to all-in-ones. To find the best, we turned to
the parent testers at PTPA Media. These 12 are their favorites.”
Hopefully this list of winners will help those of you who are on the fence about which
cloth diaper to try/buy!

We got to test the Thirsties Duo Wrap and we liked it.
No leaking!

I'm not surprised that BumGenius and FuzziBunz made the list. Those two brands are tried and true.
So glad to see gDiapers on the list! We've been using them for over a year and love them- and the flushable/compostable disposable inserts. =)
(Maybe by the time we have baby#2 I'll be able to convince hubby to try full-on cloth, till then it's gdiapers all the way! ; )
We really like the Applecheeks too! They do not seem to be as popular as BG's or FB's, but in my opinion are much trimmer and cuter, and I LOVE not having to pull the inserts out before washing.
Wow, this is so helpful! Thanks for sharing!
I dont have any of those :( I have homemade contours and some dappi covers... I'm sooo out of the loop!
This is a great list. I look forward to trying some new products. Although I am new to CD, so it is all pretty new to me! :)
I have only tried a couple of these. I have read that the Sandys also work great as trainers down the road! Double worth the money. They are on my wish list!
A great list for those who aren't sure which to try first.
I'm glad Fuzzi Bunz, gDiapers and Thirsties made the list. I just bought them all and waiting on baby to try them out!
The Thirsties Duo Wrap is my new BFF.
What a great list!
I am excited to be trying Apple Cheeks soon and now I know I need to look into the bamboo diapers by Mother-ease and the Bummis prefolds. Congrats to all the winners and I'm happy to say I own or have tried most of these products!
