Nine reasons we love our cloth diapers:
1. Cost! We've already bought all the diapers we'll need for twins until they're potty trained. And at about 25¢ a diaper for disposables, we'll break even well before that.
2. Environment. We went from a family of 2 to a family of 4 without increasing our garbage output. That's awesome.
3. No Diaper Rash. Not once has either baby gotten a diaper rash. In the 2.5 weeks they were in disposables after their birth, they had rashes so badly they bled. Switched to cloth and the next day the rashes were gone.
4. We never run out of diapers. No midnight runs to the store. No extra diapers they outgrow mid-pack.
5. No leaks. We used to change outfits and sheets with every diaper change. Now we just change the diapers.
6. They can last all night. Some of my mom friends complain that even with 2 disposables on their kids they still can't make it through the night without leaking. My boys sleep 10 hours at least and never leak. Just added an extra insert and they are good all night.
7. No creepy gel/crystal/chemicals. I know exactly what's going next to their most sensitive parts.
8. They are cute as heck. I love the bright colors and they look adorable.
9. I can feel good that I am setting a good example for my kids. I want them to know how important it is to reduce waste, to limit chemical exposure, to practice what you preach. People think we're nuts cloth diapering twins, but I can't imagine trowing countless thousands of anything into the trash, times two. And my boys will grow up seeing that.

Only 9 things? I love everything about cloth diapers!

1. It's so nice to NOT have to drop 20 bucks every two weeks on disposables!
2. Cloth = good. Nasty chemical-y disposables = BAD BAD BAD.
3. When's the last time you saw an extremely cute DISPOSABLE? Yep. That's right. Doesn't happen.
4. One item functions as a diaper cover AND a swim diaper! Bumkins FTW! (Saving MORE money!)
5. Gives me something GOOD to obsess over. If it wasn't for cloth diapers, I'd be broke from buying Kiddo all kinds of clothes. As it is, I don't like to cover up her diapers. :)
6. Less mess! Nobody believes me on that one!
7. If it wasn't for online cloth diapering COMMUNITIES, I wouldn't have a social life. Cloth has saved me from being a lonely shut-in. :)
8. My trashcan doesn't smell like chemicals and poop all the time.
9. Makes life with Kiddo easier - she actually LIKES "diaper time" when it's cloth! (You should see her run when I hold up a paper diaper, haha!)

Cloth Diapering…
Saves lots of money for my family.
Helps the earth God gave us.
Is better for my baby’s sensitive skin than any rash ointment I’ve ever tried.
Cuts way down on leakages.
Makes my trash can smell better.
Is luxurious for my baby.
Makes baby bottoms even cuter.
Is much easier than I used to think it would be.
Empowers me to make more good choices for my baby.
