In case you missed it (or you don’t live in our home state of Maine!),
DiaperShops owner, Kelly Wels, appeared this morning on
Good Day Maine with three cloth diapering moms and babies to talk about modern cloth diapers! Two segments aired this morning during the 8:00 hour of the morning show. The first featured Kelly talking to the hosts about the benefits of using cloth diapers, discussing how easy it is and showing off a couple of the diapers. And the second brought the moms and baby “models” out to talk about how cloth diapering works for them. The show producers became interested in doing this segment after hearing about our recent survey of cloth diapering attitudes.
All in all, this was a fantastic, educational segment that promoted the benefits of cloth diapers to a mainstream audience and hopefully got some people to make the switch! The best part was that we got to have some REAL LIVE Maine moms and babies appear alongside Kelly to show how cloth diapers can work in real life.
A HUGE special thanks to our families – Mama Amber and Baby Shea, Mama Lauren and Baby Eamon and Mama Jessica and Baby Annalise – for volunteering and arriving so early in the morning with smiling babies in tow! See below for some photos of our fun morning!

Awesome job ladies and Kelly! I was so excited to see this! But I do agree with a person that posted on the good day maine site, there could of been more points made. When he asked about accesories, could of talked about, cloth wipes, wet bags, wipe solutions, diaper sprayer! But all in all it was great! Getting to see the adorable fluffy bums was great! Adorable models! Hope to see more tv time for cloth diapers!

Love it! I watched the clip and just loved that these mommies got the chance to show off their cute little fluff baby butts! If people knew how easy, cheap, and cute these diapers are I bet a lot more people would be cding! More exposure!

Awesome! So good to see cloth gaining popularity. I just got another friend to convert this week...she is having baby #2 in November. And now we know what Kelly actually sounds like. :)
