I prefer the snaps -- they make me feel like the diaper is definitely more secured on my little one and I feel they will last longer than the aplix
Diaper Shops Facebook fan
love snaps because my son can't undo them :0) but aplix is super easy for night time or long trips, easy to change fast or sleepy;0) and has alittle more give if youre stuffing lots in there.
I use mainly aplix but on some dipes prefer the snaps.
Danielle Snelling- FB fan
I prefer snaps. They are really easy to use and they wash well- no worries about diapers sticking together in the wash!
I prefer snaps because they seem to hold up better. My husband likes the aplix because its easier. Catjean1981@yahoo.com

I haven't tried my diapers on a baby yet (due in May), but I feel like aplix/velcro might be easier on a newborn.

It depends on the diaper itself. I love the snaps on the Rumparooz adn BumGenius but I am in complete LOVE with the velcro on the Happy Heiny's mini.

With HH diapers, I prefer Velcro. On most other diapers, snaps, but HH velcro seems superior to most.

I prefer aplix closure for a better fit. I'm a fan on facebook. Darla Johnson
We are new to CDing and only have a 3 month old. At this point we have a few of both and I really don't have a preference. As for washing I prefer the snap, but I can also see how at some point the velcro is nice to get that perfect size.

We like the fit of aplix, but don't like how it wears out quickly, even when you're careful.
I prefer snaps, they look nicer.
Order number: KC-74027
Order Date: 3/5/2011
I like snaps in terms of laundry and longer life, but aplix seems to give a better fit for my super skinny-waisted little guy.
I like both! But I prefer snaps because they last longer.

I prefer aplix right now because my daughter is only 16 weeks old and it is the easiest thing to put on a little squirming baby. I have heard snap is better for little naughty toddlers, so I also have some snap for the future!
Snap! They seem more durable.
Snaps seem to fit tighter on my little one, but aplix is easier for my DH :-)

I love Happy Heinys! I prefer snaps now because my 5 month old can get out of HH velcro! Which sucks because Happy Heiny dipes with velcro are my fave cloth diapers to use.

Snaps, because I have a toddler, but also because all my velcro is wearing out after a year of use, which is frustrating. I would buy velcro for short time use newborn diapers though.

I prefer velcro because the fit is more true. Those cm between snaps can sometimes make a difference in getting just the right fit.
Snaps for longevity but the velcro is so easy peasy for night changes.
I prefer velcro because its faster but I know eventually that will be dangerous with a curious LO!

We like both. Aplix for day and ONLY Funzibunz snaps for mainly night, or anytime she'll be longer between changes.

I'm still new to cloth diapering. I have both aplix and snaps as I purchased them used to try them out. I think if I bought new, I would buy more snaps, just from what people have said about aplix wearing out more quickly. If I did buy a velcro diaper it would be a sized diaper as I wouldn't use it long enough to wear out. I have liked the bummis velcro and the snaps on the fuzzibunz. I don't care for the velcro on the bum genius. I think if it is a less pilly velcro, it's better.
Please pick me as your winner!!!! Shelley at shellduc@yahoo.com
I haven't used any diapers yet because our little one is still baking but I think I will like snaps for the day and aplix at night to make changing quicker and easier

I prefer aplix but am not opposed to snaps and do have a few snapping diapers in my stash. My hubby on the other hand prefers the aplix.
Snaps. They last longer, don't get stuck on other diapers in the wash and a toddler can't open them as easily.

I prefer snaps. They don't need special treatment in the washer, they aren't loud enough to scare the baby and my 2 year old cannot open them :o)
I prefer snaps because they last longer and my son can't undo them.

I reviewed the Econobum (3 prefold and cover pack) on Kellys Closet! Reviewer name "Sunshine from Texas"
When the aplix when the diaper on a new diaper because it provides a customized fit on my LO, but I also like the snaps since they will last longer than the aplix!
I placed an order at Kelly's Closet on 3/5/2011 Order # KC-74087!
My little girl is only two months old, so Aplix is definitely appreciated at this point, especially during the several bleary eyed middle of the night changes.
I prefer snap. I hate velcro.
I prefer snaps. We have all BG3.0s. She can't go without a onsie while wearing them or the velcro scratches her thighs and belly. I'm considering having them all switched over to snaps.
And, I'm a fan on facebook: Catherine Gaughan Pickering
I like Velcro because it can adjust better but I also like snaps when they are a little older.
I love the perfect size-ability of the aplix. But the LO has figured out how to open them and snaps are childproof. (at least so far)

I prefer snaps because they last longer.

I like velcro much better for the ease of putting the diapers on and off. Snaps are easier to wash and I am sure they would last longer - but I think the ease of velcro outweighs that.
