I'm a ftm but I think, from what I've heard, that I would like snaps better because they last longer!
I would like snaps better because they last longer
I like both, but velcro is easier with a wiggle worm!
I am following happyheinys on twitter, username daniellebonds.
I prefer snaps because it's harder for older babies to take off.
I prefer snaps. All my research has lead me to believe that aplix will just not last as long, no matter how careful I am in laundering them. I want my dipes to last multiple kids if I can swing it.
Snaps!! I hate when the velcro sticks to my other diaps in the laundry.

I prefer aplix for diapers. I also own snaps but with a wiggle worm who hates having a diaper put on, it is way harder than aplix.

I prefer snaps because my big guy is an escape artist, but we get a better fit at night with aplix (and only because he can't get his jammies off to get at the diaper!)

It depends on the situation. I used to have all aplix, but when summer came last year, I invested in a 'whole load' of snaps. I used them for tshirt/dress and playing outside (no pants!) and used the aplix under pants or for naps and night time when it would be covered to keep busy fingers away from it! So.. both!

I Have different reasons for liking both aplix and snaps. They both give a different fit depending on the baby. Also they are different on each brand of diaper. I have a pretty wide variety of diapers and each snap and aplix is different. Gosh its hard to pick! I guesses if I HAD to choose it would be snaps.
SUbscribed to the blog!
I definitely prefer snaps because they last much longer, aren't easy for DD to remove, and don't make weird, scratchy noises (yes, I pay attention to stuff like that!).

I prefer velcro because I can get a better custimized fit.
I started out with snaps and really love them because I can never remember to close up the velcro. But I just got my first aplix Bummis wrap and I do like how tight I can make it and how much quicker it is than snaps. mkerfamily at yahoo dot com.

Well I am a fan of both, but I do find aplix better for fast and easy diaper changes, plus they are more adjustable then the snap closures.

Snaps! I have a mean top loader that eats H&L! My BG 3.0's looked like they had been drug behind a car in less than 6 months, but I know my washer is so mean I didn't feel right to return them. Yay for 4.0's with snaps!

Well, I would choose them for different things. Aplix for newborns, Snaps for curious toddlers.
I like velcro because it makes for a great fit for my baby boy

Snap!!
I prefer applix. The snaps always give me problems and stop working after one or two uses

I prefer aplix for my 4month old for now....because it is easier to fasten while she wiggles all over the place.

I prefer snaps because there's no chance of the velcro edges rubbing my son's tummy and leaving marks, I think snaps look nicer, they last longer, easier in the wash, no need to stick down the tabs before I toss the diapers in the pail, the velcro can get bumped and on pants when I pull them up or other things little by little and come loose, and when he is older, the snaps won't be as easy for him to unfasten by himself.

Like a lot of other ladies on here, I like aplix for the fit, and I like that snaps last longer, aren't as likely to be taken off by baby, and you don't have to worry about diaper chains when you wash them!

I prefer snap on every brand except for GroVia. GroVia's hook and loop system is the only one I've actually liked so far because it is the best looking and easiest to use. I prefer snaps on everything else because they don't get messed up as easy.

I am a snap girl all the way. I don't like aplix, the way it fits and the way it doesn't hold up over time. The snaps seem more flexible than the muffing top aplix and I never have problems with fit. Plus she can't get them undone!

We use both snaps and aplix. We have mostly fuzzibunz and bumgenius. In my short experience cloth diapering I have found the velcro type ones to be easier. (My daughter is 9 months and wiggly!) I like the ease of the velcro. I think that as she gets older (and our diapers get older) we will appreciate the snaps much more. She won't be able to undo them, and they will probably hold up better in the laundry.
We are huge advocates for cloth diapering and are trying to convince all of our friends with babies to at least try cloth diapers. We rattle on and on about the benefits to both baby and environment. We talk about how easy it is. We love cloth diapering...and we love what you are doing here to open others' eyes to the world of cloth diapering! Thanks for helping make this world greener...we are in it with you!
I prefer snaps, unless the velcro is good enough that it won't create diaper chains!

I'd probably prefer snaps for day and aplix for middle of the night changes.

I like velcro better, feels more snug & are quicker! But, as soon as baby figures out how velcro works, I'm sure I'll like my snaps better! I also placed an order on 3/9 (KC74508).
Snaps, especially on Happy Heinys since their velcro is bulky. I do keep a few velcro around for those who have trouble with snaps.
