I prefer aplix, because it is much easier to put on. Although I have many diapers in snaps because they last longer.

I prefer snaps because they last longer. But for night, velcro is easier.

I don't mind either but would rather use snaps. My husband would rather use the velcro, doesn't quite get the snaps yet.

Unknown said...

I like the snaps because they last longer (through two kiddos so far!) and I can tell my husband exactly where the diaper should be fastened!

Unknown said...

I prefer snaps because they last forever (two kiddos so far!), curious fingers can't unfasten them easily, and I can tell my husband exactly where the diaper should be fastened!

I prefer aplix, but I have a little of each in my stash.

Lindsey said...

Aplix gives a better fit and is much faster right now, but I can see snaps in my future because T will inevitably be "that kid" running around nekkid because he figured out how to undo the velcro.

We like snaps because our little 21 month old is a pro at taking off her own velcro diaper...

But I agree with many that velcro is great for newborns!

I prefer aplix! They make changes super fast with my impatient wiggly boys!

Equinescrapper said...

I prefer snaps because they just look better. My girl isn't very squirmy so we haven't gotten to the point where we don't like them. They look nicer longer vs aplix, that can make the diaper look a little ragged.

i use the aplix closing, but have never tried the snaps- my husband thought they would wear out too fast. it seems the velcro is holding up okay, but they stick together a lot!

I like snaps because the don't catch on anything in the wash and when they come out they always look like brand new :)

Cara said...

Snaps for me! My LO loves making himself "diaper-free", so snaps are the only way to keep them on.
