I think we will try to start potty traing either a little before or a little after my daughters 2nd birthday. I want to have her potty trained, or mostly potty trained by the time we have another baby.
ASAP! She's almost 2 years and I'm tired of changing poopy diapers!

We just started working on potty training this week at 19 mo. old. He's been letting us know when he needs a change for several months, and our schedule finally slowed down enough we could devote the time needed to potty training!

With both of my children we started as soon as they were even slightly curious, and just enjoyed a long process (which my daughter is still taking) until completely trained. For my son it started at 20 months and for my daughter it started at 16 months.

We're already doing it! Little guy is 10 months old, and we've been practicing EC since he was one month old. We love it (and love our backup cloth diapers).

I am hoping to start in August (20 months old). :)
We will start real potty training around his second birthday, not quite 5 months away. Already have the potty out though and tell him what he is supposed to use it for!

We are trying to start potty-training now (he's 2.5), but he is not at all interested! But we're also planning on getting pregnant with Baby #3 in the next few months, so we're not done with fluff yet! Yay!

My youngest will be 15 months tomorrow and we started yesterday. We started ECing part time when he was about 4 months old.
Since our little one has shown ZERO interest (21 mos) i think we'll be waiting until 2 1/2 to potty train. Longer time in fluff!
We are trying to start a little now with our 23 month old!! Yay!
I usually start around 2-3 when they seem "ready". Whatever that means!
Thanks!

The same time I started with my other two children: at nine months we start putting them on the toilet, not training persay, but pre-training. Then I move them out of diapers around 18 months. They wear something at night still, of course, until they stay dry.

I will start when she is about 15 months.
We will probably start PT'ing around 2 years old. We've dabbled in it already, but she's not interested.
I didn't really do much to potty train either of my first two children, they just started waking up dry in the mornings one dayso dh & I went for the underwear. They were both about 2 1/2 at the time & were daytime trained in less than a week. I'm *hoping* #3 will be the same. My oldest daughter also nighttime trained at the same time, but my son took about 2-3 month more to nighttime train. Sooo.....basically I'm leaving it up to her. Maybe she'll train even earlier since she's in cloth & my other 2 weren't. I was cloth diapered & my mom said I was completely potty trained by 17 months!
My first three children started training around 18 months but didnt get it down (day and night) until three. the fourth has been surprising. She decided one day that she was going to wear panties and by her second birthday is day trained and probably 70 percent night. We will see what number five has up her sleeve:)

We will start potty training my son (he's 20 months) whenever he's ready. He's starting to tell us when he goes occasionally, so he's not too far from it I hope! Our daughter was done at 18 months so I'm getting a different perspective with a boy now!

I think the childs devolopment is more important than age, some are ready earlier and some later. In general, though, I think some time between 2 and 3.
Hopefully 18-24 months!
I started our 2nd child a little before his 2nd birthday (around 21 months) but only because he was so interested in what his brother (3.5) was doing on the potty. He's 2 yrs 2 months now, and I'm letting him decide whether to wear underpants or diaper in the morning...and we're getting LOTS of accidents. I'm not going to push it - I did with our 1st, and he rebelled (esp with poop) so he wasn't fully out of diapers until after his 3rd birthday, although we'd started at about 22 months. #3 isnt' born yet, but I expect he'll be potty trained by 12 months...I'll be so ready to be out of diapers!

When they start to show an interest in it. There's no use starting when their not ready because it will just take longer than it need to and make it more of a negative experience. When they're ready, then it's new and exciting for them and the process goes super fast!
I think we are going to shoot for 24mo at the latest.
Hopefully by 2, but I guess whenever he's able to communicate the "need."
I would say between 16-20 months based on my boyfriend's previous children.
We hope to start him by 18 months... fingers crossed!!!

This is our first baby so I don't know what to expect with potty training but I hope to have her PT by 2.5 - 3 yrs old. I hope to start when she's around 18 - 24 months though.

Well my son asked to use the potty the other day for the first time and he's 20 months, so I guess 20 months! I'm following his lead though so not sure how long it will actually take.

We are already potty training - Started around 5 months. He is 9 months now and we catch most poops in a potty and a lot of pees. Saves me on about half of our diaper laundry, which is good enough for me. Actually, just one poo a month in the potty instead of a diaper would be worth it to me!
