My daughter began exploring at 18 months. She is now 25 months and we are officially trained. Naps and bed time are still in diapers, but all day, out and about, almost no accidents. So I say 2 is the potty training year.

I'm not really sure since this is a first for us. I would hope sooner rather than later (son is 12 months now)... I don't want to still be changing diapers at 3. How do you know when they're interested?

We started ECing at about 4 months, but not very seriously. We offered the potty after waking and after meals after that. She just turned two and we have a calendar with star stickers in the bathroom whenever she makes it in the potty.

With our first we did the let your child decide method...that was fun! With mt step daughter who is two, we are working on it now:) With our seven month old, I think we will shoot for three years old. That seems to be a common age for the children's aha moment:)

We will start potty training when she seems like she is ready, probably around 2. It took our son a whole year!!!

I am starting now to introduce the potty just so he can sit on his own in the bathroom, he's 14 month's old. I would LOVE to have him potty trained by the time he's 24 months.

My 2 year old is potty trained for days(since 15 months), but not night time. And I am already training my 4 month old! We are en EC'ing family!=)

I think we will start when he is interested. I have no idea when that will be, since he is only 4 months old now. We will start encouraging him that the potty is a good place to do his business as soon as he starts walking.
I'm not sure when we will potty train, since DS is only 4 months old. I think we will start as soon as he is able to walk with encouragement that the potty is a good place to do his business. But not pressure him or yell at him like I've heard some moms do.

My little one is 19 months old and although he enjoys sitting on the potty, he doesn't seem to understand the connection and I'm not sure he notices when he's peeing, much less able to sense it's coming. I'm really hoping to get a good start on potty training before his second birthday, though.
