I researched online for days, trying to find enough cloth diapers in our normal bi-weekly diaper budget of $35. My daughter was only in diapers at night time at the time, and my son in them full time. I am sure people thought I was crazy, trying to diaper my babies for a one time "fee" of $35!
I searched craigs-list, I am not picky, I just needed something to go on my babies bum! I found a lady getting rid of a dozen barely used prefolds, a few covers, and a wet bag, for $35! I bought them immediately.
As soon as I put them on my son, I just felt better. It's almost like a mountain to climb, once you get over it, you feel good about yourself and know it was the right decision.To continue building my stash, now with absolutely NO money set aside for diapers, I still searched Craigslist.
Cloth Diaper Momma's are the greatest bunch of people in the world. If you tell them you want to cloth diaper but can't pay for them right now (legitimately), if they can afford to, they love to share the cloth love with newbies! I have received many covers and cloth laundry detergent that way!
One day, I logged onto Facebook and saw one of my friends asking for diapers, saying she couldn't afford them for her little boy. I called her. She immediately wanted the security of cloth. To know her son would NEVER be without diapers again. We searched craigs-list. We found her some. She was hooked.
Another friend wanted the independence of her parent's not having to buy her children's diapers. We found out that some diaper stores have some previously loved fluff they give to families in need. She got her stash for COMPLETELY FREE. She is hooked on cloth diapering her three children!
Cloth Diapering is contagious. There are cheap ways to cloth diaper your children. Think outside the box. If you are de-stashing, give to mothers in need. You never know when cloth diapering might be an answer to a prayer for someone. Every time I change a diaper, I thank God for my diapers, and the precious mothers who gave them.

This is an awesome post :) You can find find great gently used cloth diapers if you do a bit of searching! I have gotten lots of great deals on ebay :)
