Nursing in public would be so much easier because I wouldn't have to bring a cover in addtion to what I'd already be wearing!

for some reason I dont mind Nursing in-front of strangers but I have serious issues with haling the girls out around people I know!

I have a serious issue not with breast feeding infront of strangers but infront of people I know... I would like some nursing shawls for that

This would be great because my baby is a super distractable nurser and I really don't like flashing people.

It would definitely help keep things discrete so I wouldn't feel the need to find a restroom instead!

Love that the solid, subtle colors don't draw attention to nursing mamas!

I have a cover but its really hard to wear. Maybe this cover will be more comfortable.

I would love this for my sister who is expecting. I know this would make her more comfortable nursing in public and not feel so self conscious about people looking at her

I am currently pregnant with twins (my first children) and really want to breastfeed. A nursing cover would be so helpful when out and about with the babies.

We're expecting our little one in October, but just having this on hand will make public feedings much more... private and still let me look put together.

It would make it easier to go out to dinner with him. He always gets hungry when I eat.

I use a nursing cover, which is great, but this is so stylish!

I love how this cover actually covers the back and sides more than traditional, apron style covers. Would be so helpful for squirmy toddlers!

The nursing shawl would make nursing in public easier on my sister because it looks like clothing rather than a nursing cover.

I've never liked nursing covers but I have gotten dirty looks for not using one. At least this way I can be stylish and keep away the dirty looks.

Know your audience! Sometimes I use a cover and it would be great to have this cute one.

I am no longer nursing but I think my best friend would appreciate this when her little one arrives in May (At first I wrote Breast friend - LOL)

It looks a lot more discreet than the nursing cover I have now, and also like maybe it does a better job covering the sides, rather than just the front. Which is especially nice when the baby's big enough to pull the cover away constantly!

This would make nursing in public so much easier second time around. With my first, my cover never seemed to stay in a good position for me or my daughter.

no regular cover is big enough to contain my active 16 month old!

I have been eyeing this shawl for ages! I love that it's black and not a loud pattern like so many other covers.

Unknown said...

I lik the idea of how much coverage this shawl gives you.

Jessie said...

It would be easier to use this than a blanket, and it is more elegant looking than some covers.

I absolutely hated the brightly patterned nursing covers I had while nursing my first child. I think the Chic Nursing Shawl is as much a fashion statement as it is a cover.

the covers make it so discreet to nurse in public! it can take away some of the worry when going out 'what if baby wants to nurse'

It would make nursing at church a heck of a lot easier. my son is always pulling my current cover off no matter what i do and i hate having to miss a fair amount of the sermon.

Nursing shawls/covers are great for nursing in public, not just for privacy, but to keep a distracted baby focused on nursing instead of the surroundings.

J. Olson said...

The shawl looks very comfy and roomy and it would be great for nursing my daughter out and about.

It would be convenient and I would have more privacy!

In general, it looks like it's the easiest, most discrete cover I have ever seen!! It actually looks fashionable!

Krissie said...

I love the concept of this, seems way more friendly than the apron style covers... I want!

With my first one I flashed a lot of people trying to nurse a wiggly baby with the apron style cover. I am looking for something with more coverage this time around.

I'm thinking most of my son who would be 4 and going to the park and other places with him, I fear what moms would think if I didn't cover up.

Rebecca Williams said...

I'm new at breastfeeding, I've only been doing it for 3 weeks since that's how old my baby is. I'm not confident yet, a shawl would help

Amanda said...

I really don't have issues with feeding in public - it's the people around me who do so this would make it more comfortable for THEM! LOL

It is great for nursing mamas on the go! It would make nursing anywhere so much easier (and more private)!

It would help me keep my baby focused on feeding. He tends to get distracted easily.

It would be nice to not LOOK like I was wearing a nursing cover. That in itself would make it more discrete.

Baby #2 is due in June, and with an active 2 year old, I know I won't be hiding out at home! I'm all for breastfeeding in public, but have some personal confidence issues with it. I know the Bamboobies Chic Nursing Shawl could help!

Kim said...

my 4 month old gets sooo distracted by the pattern on my nursing cover, hopefully this would help him be more focused on the food!

The shawl would be a nice, discrete way of covering up in public. Much more discrete than a regular nursing cover and easier than using a blanket I would think!

Kate McBride said...

It would be more for the comfort of others than myself but at least I would have the option to cover myself. :)

Jahmari said...

I was nervous about nursing in public with my son and found myself nursing in the restroom a lot (gross, I know). I think I will be more relaxed this time around and this would definitely help.

Steph said...

This seems to be a much easier method of nursing rather than throwing a blanket over yourself.

Aimee said...

As a soon to be new mom, this would help me with my comfort nursing around friends and in public!

MonkeyMama88 said...

I am a very shy person and only pumped for public outings with my first baby. Now that I am pregnant with my second, I realize how impractical that was, and a nursing shawl would really help with me being nervous about exposing my breasts in public

Brett and Jen said...

I love that it covers the back and front but is still loose

Unknown said...

This elegant looking cloth seems pretty discrete. I am not so ashamed to do something so natural as breastfeeding in a public space, so this would be ideal more so for the peeps that are offended by the view of it. I don't have a nursing cover, and I could just use any old blanket or small piece of cloth, but this one is very nice and guarantees privacy.

Boise Wiebers said...

I actually want to give it to a new mom to help her feel more comfortable as she learns to nurse.

Nice coverage

I think this would make nursing in public wonderful. I usually use a cover but this is something I could also wear and keep on. It looks so fashionable. It would give both me a baby some privacy. Love the idea.
