I would love to try the new version on my almost 3 year old who refuses to even show the tiniest bit of interst in potty training. He is a bigger boy and is out growing a lot of our diapers to the point of his little bits getting a little squished (which he complains about). So after hearing that this new elementail was made larger really makes me want to try it out!

Yay! I'd LOVE to try a new Elemental! Love the organic bamboo inner for my sensitive girl, but couldn't commit to the old version due to the wicking. Looking forward to trying the new ones with the leg gussets!!! :)

I love the absorbancy of the old Elemental diapers but I didn't like how the full body layer of cotton under the soaker always ended up wearing so quickly. I love the new design of the Elemental without that under layer of cotton.

My Husband and I are having our first child soon. We are SO excited! We just got married (before getting pregnant), and sure are on a tight budget. I have done research on how to save money and cloth diapering seems like a wonderful way to save money I can actually do. I have loved The Cloth Diaper Wisperer blog and learned so much. I have heard from other moms that Bum Genius is one of the BEST cloth diapers and I really really want to try it.

I want to try this diaper for 2 reasons- for one thing, we are trying to prepare for baby (and cloth diapering) on a budget, so every little bit that helps to build our stash cheaply is awesome. I'm interested in trying an Elemental because I've cloth diapered three of my babies over the last 9 years and for most of those years I've used prefolds and covers. The prefolds I used with my first CD'd baby were cheap, bulky and fell apart. My 5 month old may be my last baby so I'd love to try a variety of nice cloth diapers before I pack it in. :)
