I have not tried flats, but plan to with this baby :)

Elizabeth J. said...

I haven't tried flats yet but I recently watched Calley and Kim talking about the flat's challenge and heard that some people use them in pocket diapers. Now that interests me. I like the idea of them washing well with the simplicity of a pocket diaper.

We use prefolds but just never thought of trying a flat since prefolds were working so well. But would love to compare :)

Amy Lumley said...

I would love to try flats, but hate to purchase anything else. Use prefolds and covers all the time currently!

I haven't yet, but am definitely going to with the next baby. Not sure why I haven't, probably because I love prefolds so much.

Sam C said...

I love flats! That is what we started cloth diapering with and I frequently go back to using them, especially on wash days!

Kat said...

We have our first baby on the way and I'm planning to do mainly prefolds and covers. I thought about flats but I'm not sure about all the extra folding.

Unknown said...

My first baby is due in July. But I plan on trying flats since they are the most economical, and I think, the easiest to wash and dry.

I'm so excited. I would love to try new things and I love cloth diapers.

I have not tried flats yet but have wanted to! I just haven't been buying anything new for quite some time now. I have a Geffen Baby prefold that I love though! My son actually wore the Geffen Baby prefold and a Flip cover last night to bed!!!

Jessica said...

I haven't tried flats, I love our prefolds and Flip covers. When I was building our stash I honestly thought that flats and prefolds were the same thing. Now that I know the difference I would love to try flats for their versatility and decreased drying time.

No, I've never tried flats. I guess I just got carried away with all the cute pockets & AIOs available. Flats sound like a great option though, which I've been thinking of trying for my baby due in June.

I'm not sure what you mean by flats. Shoes? Yes I have.

Haven´t tried them yet, but I will. I don´t see how a little mess can be the end of the world. Our moms and grandmothers used them and we are all still here right? It saves a ton of money, and it is good for the little ones. Better than any chemicals right?
