My daughter started "showing interest" around 16 months, but now she is 2 1/2 and won't go on the potty so hopefully she will be ready again soon!

We just started yesterday with my daughter. She turned two last week. She came up to me and asked to use the potty. Now I guess is the time to be shopping for training pants!

I just bought a potty for my 13 month old, but won't be introducing it until she shows some signs of readiness. She's starting to wake up dry, though, so it might not be as long as I think.

We introduced a potty seat at a little over a year, we just started potty training at 27 months.

We introduced the potty to our home at about 18 months just so it's there whenever she decides to show interest. Now that she is two, we are having her try use the potty more.

I'm thinking of this Christmas break for my current 18m old. He will be 2 years, 3 months. He is just starting to answer me when I ask him if he has a dirty diaper, but isn't saying it independently yet. I might give it a try in August (23m), but I think that will be too early.

As soon as my little one is walking I will begin introducing the potty. I feel the earlier to start, the better. I do not want to pressure him to be done by a certain time, just give him the option.
When she's ready! This is my 6th, and they've all been potty trained at different times, it just depends on the child.

WE're starting now. Little man is 23 months old.

We introduced a baby potty when she turned one year old. We don't do anything with it, but it is in the bathroom and she likes to sit on it fully clothed when she is in there.

I've started my older 2 kids at potty training 'for real' right around 2 years old, and both of them have been fully trained within a few weeks. However, we start introducing them to the concept of the potty long before that, letting them observe how we use the toilet and get used to the idea. We have a plastic potty so they 'practice' long before anything starts happening. I've got a 6 month old and we'll see, he's clever, maybe he'll start even earlier!

Soon I think! Having trouble with ammonia now that we moved and I can't find anything that will fix the problem so far. We're gonna give it a try this summer so probably 20 months or so I think. She'll be 2 in September.

With my oldest, I tried to potty train way too early... and it complicated the whole process! This time around, I'm letting my LO take the lead!

We started introducing potty training at 15 months. We're one month away from 24 months now, and still not potty trained, but we haven't exactly demanded it of her yet either. We had a major move and a new baby added to the drama mix during the past few months so we don't want to overwhelm her too much all at once.

We started I think before she could even sit up. Now she's 19 months and still not potty trained lol.
We've had a little potty out for a while, and let my son "assist" in flushing poop, and at 2 3/4, we just went full on in PL, and he's doing great! Of course, I'm not confident enough for trips out, so some trainers would be great!
If she has not already showed the signs of potty readiness 2.5 years old. I will follow her lead all babies learn things in their own time not ours. I am trying to respect that I have learned the hard way if your try too soon it backfires.

Two and a half if my child is ready if not we will wait until closer to three.
We've been asking our first son (almost 2.5 yrs) if he wants to sit on the potty for over a year. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't, but he's never actually gone. Hoping for summertime!
I day potty train starting at 18 months to 2 years old. By the time my kids hit 3 they are generally night and day potty trained.

We started introducing our son around 13 months to just sitting on the potty clothed. We had a casual approach and he was pretty well trained by 18 months or so. He's just over 2 now and we only go through 2 diapers a day (nap and bedtime), but we still use trainers...just in case!

We started right at 2, but not because it was a magic number. Everything just came together right at two. We love the Blueberry trainers we have! They are the ones we use the most. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trim, similar-to-underwear trainer.

I've let my 2.5 year old set his own pace. He became interested around 18 months, but we moved across the country a few months later and it set him back. I'm letting him take his time.
I'll happily start as early as my LO shows signs of being ready to PT, I'm hoping by age 2?

We will start potty training our fourth baby boy, as soon as he can sit up on his own.
We started late with our prior three boys and regret not starting it earlier.
Honestly, my little ones have been intro'd since ~ 5months...not to say either of them are potty-learned yet, but....
As soon as she shows any interest! Most babies in my family have been potty trained by 16-18 months. So hoping she'll show an interest on her own around then, but we'll get her a potty by then for sure.

With my older kids, around 2, they didn't grasp it until around 3 which was fine with me, more time in their adorable fluff!

We'll introduce the potty when our little guy shows signs of being ready (pulling up/down his own pants, taking an interest in others' toileting, noticing when he is wet, etc.) We started too early with our daughter and it made it so much more difficult. Lesson learned! :)
I plan on PTing my son at 3. Not in a hurry since I'm a SAHM and hopefully by then he can walk on his own so he can sit and get up when doing his business.

My first was about 2 years and 4 months when we started potty training. My second is 21 months old right now. I'm pregnant with our third that is due when our second is 2 years and 3 months old. I'll probably want to wait until the baby is a few months old before I tackle potty training! So maybe 2 1/2?

We introduced it around 16 months, but a year later we are still having no luck. I wish I had pushed the potty harder before she was 2, because now, it has turned into something of a power struggle, I'm afraid.
I have been trying to let my 2 yr old use the potty or get comfortable sitting on it any way.

I won a potty in December. I have it out & my son loves to sit on it (almost 22 months) I haven't "tried" yet, but we've already introduced him.
