Question: What are the biggest challenges you've found when it comes to cloth diapering? I'm just preparing to use cloth with our next child (due in February) and it would be helpful to know what some of the speed bumps might be and how to overcome them. I can already tell that at this point, trying to choose between the MANY options for cloth diapering seems overwhelming but I figure that I'll be able to make better choices once I see how various types of diapering work with our newborn.

OOOH I love cloth diapers, but I want to know if you can tell me the best way to organize them? I know random, but my system isn't working. I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old in cd's and I have no good system.

my question:
what is the BEST way to care for cloth diapers? when should I wash them? What detergent should I use? Does using a diaper sprayer make the diapers cleaner in the end? Ok, that was more than one question, but I guess I just really want to know more about diaper care.

I am new to cloth diapers and am actually expecting my first package from you tomorrow full of diapers! WOO HOOO!!! The question I'd like to know is... where in the world do you store your diapers & cloth wipes so that it's convenient?? We live in a townhouse (that's for sale) so we can't just lay stuff around right now and the changing table is in storage. The CDs take up more space than the disposables, so I am not sure where/how to store them so that they're not in the way.. out in the open... or just looking like a mess on the counter!! :)

I'd like a post dedicated to pre-folds. They're supposed to be so easy and well-known but I think they're not. My youngest is three months and over 15lbs and I just can't get the diapers on him properly (using a velcro cover rather than snappi). When I following folding directions online, he leaks. When I wing it, it's way too bulky.

I'd love to hear about different ways to organize your CD changing station! Also, I've just started to use pocket diapers, and I can't find the right fit with the FuzziBunz to prevent leaks on the side.

Violet is almost 5 months. For the last month and a half we have been using BG one size pocket diapers at night. They are awesome. They fir her best on the largest setting though. Seems silly to pay for a one size diaper that we use at the largest setting. Is there something else comparable? Will she really be able to wear this for the next year?

I am also curious about traveling and cloth diapers, I travel often and think that it would be almost impossible to do cloth diapering while traveling (mainly when flying, having to wash them while away, store them, and travel with them).

I would like to know more about BPA and BPA free items, why it is important to switch to BPA free items. What items other than bottles might possibly have BPA in them?

I would also like to know more about disposable diapers and what is all in them that make them so bad, why does it take them so long to decompose, could they really cause cancer (what cancer causing agents are in them)? People have asked me this and I am not sure really what to say to them.

I'd love to see a "real life" comparison of all the one size diapers! Like a "one-size diaper guide" based on published sizes....and then compared to "real babies".

For example, BGOS and HHOS claim to fit birth through PLing, but because BGOS is trimmer than HHOS, they fit newborns better, but can be outgrown before potty-learning...and HHOS don't fit smaller newborns, but fit my 37lb toddler!
