I have just two plastic drawers, I do not have very many diapers, so this works well for me.

This Fluff Friday contest has really gotten me to think about how I can better organize my diapers. Right now they are just stacked on the changing table shelf. I will definitely be re-evaluating how I can make my diapering supplies easier to access and store.

Mine diapers are in wicker baskets in my living room!!

The McKitterick Family said...

I used to use wicker baskets on the shelves of my daughters changing table & found out quickly that I couldn't use anything without a lid on it because my daughter likes to play with everything. Now I use plastic storage containers with lids that aren't easy for her to get off. I love my system. It is easy and convenient for use because it is right there when I am changing my daughter. I never change my daughter any where else other than her changing table, so for me it is perfect. I have a diaper champ for the disposable wipes on one side of the changing table and on the other side a garbage can with a diaper pail liner in it to store my dirty diapers.

I'm still pregnant and still working on a system that will work for me. I'm loving the tips here.

my storage of my diapers is pretty horrible i usually just stuff them all in a big drawer or the couch and stuff them as i need then and its so time consuming i really love it when i am in a motivated mood and stuff them before i put them away its so nice to just grab one ready to go!!

We use a laundry basket on the bottom shelf of our changing table. It holds stuffed pocket diapers, diapers stuffed for night time, extra wipes, doublers, extra pail liner, and wet bags. It is pretty full, so I may need to upgrade my system, but it works well for us now. I just grab the basket and head to the drying rack once my freshly laundered diapers are dry.

We keep our diaps in 2 drawers of my son's dresser - we like it b/c it's organized and hidden away.

I organize and store my fluff in a 12 bin toy storage unit. :)

I store my diapers in two areas. One basket is just for my 2 month old. I have his daytime and nighttime diapers seperated in the basket.

In my sons' bedroom closet, I have a hanging clothes orgnaizer. I put different diapers on different shelves. Prefolds and covers on one shelf, FB and inserts on another. I have nighttime stuff on a third.

This was such a great week's giveaway question. It has been so great to see everyone's post. I usually try to read each and every comment as added each day but I think this was the biggest commented week every! So great that the blog has such an awesome following.

My organization changed just a little this morning due to all the ideas I have gotten this week. I now folded my pre-stuffed pocket diapers so that I could see the fluff colors that I have now. All my pockets sit on one side of my changing table shelf and my older prefold diapers are opposite them with all my accessories in the middle.

thanks for a great week of posts!

I was just given SO many prefolds from my sister and I have way too many for my current diaper stash system....

I'm thinking that I need to get some plastic bins or drawers for them and then put in the closet as "back-up".

Geez- after seeing all these ideas, I'm constantly getting ideas! I love it :)

I store my diapers in 3 colorful bins on a huge bookshelf. I'm in the process of figuring something else out, though.. because that bookshelf is in our living room and I want all the diaper stuff to go in the bedroom! I also have too many diapers for the current set up!

Comment/question for Thursday for this post: Since we are talking about organization and cloth diaper storage, does anyone have any tips on how to store diapers for the long-term...when you want to save them for the next kiddo that comes along and your current kid outgrows them? I've been wondering about that. I don't want to store them in anything that would retain moisture (so I doubt putting them in a tub in the basement would work well). And I would NEVER want to store them with moth balls (yucky chemicals). Any tips on long-term cloth diaper storage to keep them in decent condition, mold/moisture/moth-free? Since I'm just starting with cloth, I don't need to worry about it yet but I expect our newborn will outgrow her NB diapers before we know it! Thanks!

Second entry. I don't have that many diapers that I need a lot of organisation, but it does help to have the diapers all stuffed and to have day and sleep diapers separated.

It's amazing to me how addicting cloth diapering is! I wonder if dads also get this urge to check out Kelly's closet website every day... LOL!

I think this is my fourth comment. This has been my favorite post this last month. Lots of great ideas.
