My first carrier was a snugli, which was awkward and uncomfortable! I then "upgraded" (so I thought) to a bjorn but it was no better! I am usually that mom carrying her baby (and often her toddler as well) on her hip because I hate strollers. After hearing so many wonderful testimonies, I am sold on trying a Moby wrap with baby #3. I may even have to get two since baby #2 still loves to be held!

Another reason I love wearing my baby is that now that she is crawling, it is much easier to keep her out of trouble when I'm wearing her than when she is on the ground!

I do wear my baby: when she was under 4 months old she had acid reflux and hated to be put down (because she was in pain!!) so I carried/held her a lot. The wrap was really great for eating dinner at friends houses and such because she would be so content to just snuggle in and go to sleep and I still had TWO hands free to cut my own food!

I am a little late on entering this give away, but hopefully not too late. I used a Native Carrier/sling with my daughter. She was a little peanut that arrived four weeks early. She loved to be carried around and be snuggled in close. I used the Baby Bjorn a little bit with my son, but he wasn't very into it and would rather be held than in a carrier. Who knows how this third baby will be. :)

Yesterday I wore her all day because neither of us felt well and wearing her allowed both of us to sleep on and off all day.

My daughter was a baby who I could never put down and have stay asleep, so she spent most of her naps in a sling...that way I could still get something accomplished while she slept.

I like to wear my baby because it keeps her close to me but my hands free. And she loves being held!

But does anyone ever feel like baby is in the way in front? With the one shoulder sling, I often feel like I can only use one hand efficiently, and now that she can reach for things, baby always wants to grab at what I am doing.

I like the idea of the Moby or the Ergo so I could wear her on the back and keep her out of the way and out of harm (like when I'm at the stove!). Great giveaway! I would love to win!

Kelly said...

I have occassionally worn my daughter, but not nearly as much as I would have liked to. The sling I used was probably a little big, so it hurt my back after a while, as did a baby bjorn. My daughter is one now, so I she doesn't need to be carried as much, but I do need something for the zoo and some hiking we would like to do this summer. I am thinking a Moby wrap or an ergo carrier.

I have attempted to "wear" my children in the past with one type of sling or another to no avail. The contraptions I bought were just too uncomfortable. However, I believe in AP so I just end up carrying them around the house and don't get much done otherwise. Seeing that this is my 4th child, I have no choice but to find some other means of carrying my sweet baby around while I care for my other kiddos, and a Moby looks like it would be just the ticket! Thank you for the chance to win this awesome mama must-have!

I try. Right now I don't have a baby to wear but will be wearing own new baby daughter when she comes in July. It help for having your hands free to deal with other children. Also other people are less likely to want to touch your baby. No germs!

I don't wear my baby yet, since he has yet to be born :-) 7.5 weeks and counting... But I look forward to it greatly! I think I would be able to multi task so much better, plus knowing I would always have my baby with me and not worry about getting sore!

I wear my baby because it's comfy for both of us. I LOVE being close to him. It's a very finite amounnt of time that you get to nuzzle their heads and smell that baby smell... you have to enjoy it while it lasts!

We just got home from a museum with my three boys. I had my 11 month old in the Beco the whole time. I love it because it keeps my hands free to tend to the other two and he is so happy in it!

I love wearing my girls. I wore my first in a Bjorn. I've worn my last two girls in our Sling Set Pouch Sling and our wrap. My 10week old baby is still worn pretty much 50% of the day and occasionally I still wear my 2yo. My 4yo isn't as excited about it anymore. I wear my babes because it is so beneficial. The comfort to the baby, bonding, etc., as well as being able to get things done, have two hands, etc.

After my 3 year old saw the girl in my very own wrap being carried on the back, he says mommy I want to ride on your back like that. You need a back blanket.
Now this is a great reason to want to win this weeks drawing
