I'd love to share Charlie's Soap with more friends and family, and this giveaway would help me do that! I'm attempting to convert a friend with baby #2 on the way to cloth diapers.

I use regular old Costco brand detergent (Kirkland Signature) and it works great for me!

Ammieloris said...

I have used Free & Clear detergents on my diapers before, like Purex. I thought they worked fine.

I used BioKleen powder and I don't really like it. Before that, I used Purex free and clear and that was working fine.

Ugh I've been the rounds with a few and haven't found anything I love. Was using crunchy clean, but don't like it. Right now I'm using just dawn. Would love to try Charlies!

Tuesday - still Country Save...but I might have figured out my stink issue. I was washing my pail liner bag with the diapers and I think it was interfering with the wash/rinse. I did a load today without the bag and everything smelled much better!

I use the generic free and clear from the grocery store (Publix) - it's been working okay, but I can tell I need to strip my microfiber inserts...I'd love to try Charlie's.

I use Charlie's soap- I can find it locally and it seems to work well, doesn't do a great job of removing stains but I haven't had a build up problem and I have hardwater.

Right now I am using Country Save and like it overall. I have some stink issues, but I have hard water, so I guess I just haven't figured out how to perfect washing diapers yet. Any suggestions?

Currently we use a homemade laundry detergent. But, I ordered some Charlie's and will be trying that out very soon!

I use Allens Naturally. I bought the gallon size before my daughter was born. She is 7 months now and I still have at least 3/4 of the gallon left. I use a HE washer so that helps cut down on the amount. I really like it so far.

I'm washing my diapers in Charlie's Soap right now. First I run a light/quick cold wash/cold rinse with a tiny bit of Charlie's, then I run a heavy duty hot wash/warm rinse with one scoop of Charlie's (yes, that's more than the 1/4 of the recommended amount, but it's what works and I got the green light from Cotton Babies for the Bum Genius). Sometimes I will run a quick extra hot wash/warm rinse just to make sure all the detergent is washed out.
