If someone left me 500 disposables, I would make diaper cakes for all my pregnant friends- right now I have 3 and it seems like another every time I turn around. There's something in the water!

I would make a display to show just what 500 diapers looks like in a landfill (with some info on why they are BAD!) and then tell people to check out some cute cloth dipes instead.

Well i would be happy as i am struggling financially right now. I am slowly buying cloth diapers every time i get money, but don't have enough to even get me through one day! So i would keep them or i may even post an ad on kijiji to see if someone would be willing to trade their cloth diapers for the disposables.

I would do the same thing that I did with all of our disposable diapers when we made the switch to cloth: donate them. we have a local battered women and children's shelter that most of our grown clothes go to.

Candace said...

Honestly? I'd keep 100 of them for emergencies and donate the other 400 to the food pantry because I know for sure that the govt. programs here do NOT help with diapers or any hygiene items.

I don't think I'd keep any of them. I really don't like disposable! We are staying with my parents this week and my mom asked me to bring disposable, every time I put one on my son I think of how uncomfortable it looks!

Danelle said...

Hmmm... I suppose if 500 sposies were dropped on my doorstep, I'd take a few for myself for travelling and then divide the rest between my sister and sister-in-law (both already using sposies). I'd probably make them into diapercakes so no one would know I was regifting. :)
