I just rec'd 2 gro baby diapers. I have not been able to use them yet though, babies not here. But I am so excited to. They are super cute and the aplix closure seems like it will last through many washings. I got the kiwi and tangerine colors and they are uber cute and vibrant.

I started using cloth diapers by way of gdiapers. My girlfriend gave me her gdiapers with cloth inserts and I became hooked on cloth diapers. I really like the gdiapers at first. However, my son refused to sleep in them. The wetness in the diaper bothered him. The gdiapers never leaked and never had an explosion. But I did notice red marks on his upper thighs and hips from them. I have switched to prefolds and my son takes naps with prefolds. Yay! I would recommend gdiapers to anyone who is thinking about switching to cloth. I would recommend getting the disposables along with some cloth inserts. I used the disposables inserts, but like cloth inserts much more. Gdiapers definitely sold me on the power of cloth. The are a good transition diaper, but I do not know if I would recommend using them long term. I used my gdiapers for a month before I made the complete switch.

The only hybrid system I've tried was the gDiapers. They are readily available and the price didn't seem too bad. Although they are super cute, I didn't like the velcro at the back, and the soft material just doesn't seem like it will hold in messes and wetness like the PUL of other cloth diapering systems. Overall they have just sat on the changing table, as they don't work overnight on my toddler and we are out of diapers during the day. I hope to try out some Flip diapers, though, they seem much more my style!

i like the idea of snapping the liner in place, since the gdiaper inserts tend to slip around (especially the second they get wet).

I have one Grobaby and have used gdiapers a lot. I usually use them with cloth, but they work great for traveling with the flushies. My only problem with them is the hook/loop tape doesn't hold and sticks to everything in the wash. Converted one to snaps and I seem to like it. I'll have to use it more to see.

Hi! I've never tried a hybrid diaper but I've been interested in Flip and GDiapers. I like that Flip doesn't have to use disposable inserts but can if I'm traveling or need some space saving. Little G pants are cute and fasten in the back which may make it a little more difficult for little hands to undo. I think I've heard they can be used like a cover over cloth, so that interests me, too.
