With 2 in diapers and both different sizes I think that I will be saving $20.00 to $30.00 a week in diapers.

I just ordered my first cloth diapers. We have been talking about switching for a little while and we have just got the extra money up to order some. We are so excited to get them and can't wait till they arrive.
Posted a comment on a post on facebook... Title is "What it your favorite diaper shop?"
I honestly don't know how much I'd be spending on disposables because I've never bought them! I think they are 8-10 a pack...and my new baby would use a pack in a couple days. So maybe $30 a week in diapers, and $10 on wipes.
I have been cloth diapering for 9 weeks :) My baby's whole life.

I think that I will save at least $20 per week by cloth diapering...I won't have to rush out in a panic to Babys R Us to pick up Pampers.

Between cloth diapers and wipes I think we're saving about $15 a week. I'm so glad we no longer have to buy diapers each time we go to the store.

We've been using cloth diapers for about a week now. Finally!

I would say about $15 a week as long as I don't splurge on any new dipes ;)

I've been cloth diapering for 5 years with my three kids. My stash has evolved a lot, but I still use some diapers that I had with baby #1.
I am not sure as I just started CD but it's got to be more than $20/week with a newborn.
I save at least $20 a week!
My little one can't stand to be wet or dirty, so we go through more than a dozen diapers a day. I'm sure we're saving at least $30 a month.
I commented on the post "Why are people anti-cloth diapering?" on your Facebook page.
I've been using cloth diapers since my oldest son was born 2.5 years ago - I'd never consider using disposables now!

I have double booty duty!! We save an average of twenty dollars because we used to use LUVS when they were smaller (huggies were automatic blowouts)... we just switched from prefolds to bumgenius 3.0s and even the hubby changes diapers now ;)

I first started trying cloth diapers when my first son was a year old to see what I thought. I built up a small stash and then, last year when my 2nd was born, I got more cloth diapers! We started out part-time last Sept. until I had enough to do it full-time and have been doing all cloth diapers since January and absolutely looove them!

I've been using cloth diapers for 6 years! Wow- we're using them on kid #3.
If you amortize the initial cost of the cloth diapers and then add in the cost of water/electricity and detergent, I think I save about $5 per week. I would need to buy a $20 pack of disposables every 2 weeks otherwise. Obviously the longer you use cloth, the more you save.

I think my neighbors would save a little over $20 a week with a newborn. Still want to win some diapers to get her started... baby is less than a week old, so she'd still benefit hugely!
I think I save about $25-25 a week on diapers (including not buying wipes since I use cloth wipes). I figure two jumbo packs a week at 8-10 each and wipes comes to 20+ a week!! sobyn at hotmail dot com

We save upwards of $15/week using cloth diapers. Being a life-long money scrooge: LOVE IT!
We wont be cloth diapering until our baby is born, so I have no idea how much I'll save. I have high hopes though, and even higher seeing some of these numbers!!!

I would say I save about 10 dollars a week for the entire first year of cloth diapering (calculated by: a. adding up the cost of the cloth diapers, detergent, and washing/drying b. subtracting the cloth diaper amount from the approximate amount I would spend on disposables in a year c. dividing the savings over 52 weeks). After the first year it will be all savings minus the amount I spend on washing and detergent :) !

We've been using cloth since Dec. 07, so almost 2.5 years (wow!)
I have no idea...probably not a "ton" weekly since we use Kroger brand diapers (about $5-$7/pk) when we have to use sposies...But that totally adds up over time! (and the money saved not driving to the store, and all the other stuff we'd be compelled to buy while in the store!) :)

Per week we use about 56 diapers. That would be about $20 plus a little more for disposable wipes. I've spent a little extra money on my diaper stash for convenience sake (daddy and daycare) and we started when he was already 14 months old. If he potty learns at 2 1/2 years, we'll have spent about $11 a week on the diapers and all the accessories. So, even though we have convenient diapers and started a bit late in the game, we are still saving at LEAST $10 a week by using cloth diapers!
We've been using cloth diapers for 3 months.

I would say I save about $15. Once I add in the cost of water, energy, detergent....and balance out the up front cost of cloth. I do it for more reasons than the savings, though!

I think I save $10-15 per week, but I'm really for sure because I started CDing when her cord fell off, and before that I used disposables that were gifts...so I haven't had to buy any disposables and track it!

Well, when my daughter wore diapers full time I saved about $20 a week. Now she's only in diapers for sleeping and outings, so now I save beetween $5-10 a week, depending on how often she makes me change her night diaper before she goes to sleep :P If she was still in sposies I would hate wasting the dipes, but they are cloth so it's no biggie if I have to use 3 diapers a night!
I've been using cloth diapers for almost 3 years, since my daughter was born. Wait... when I was 10 years old and 15 years old I used cloth diapers on my youngest two sisters, does that count?? That was 15 and 20 years ago!
