We haven't done longer than a day trip - so just take our pockets along with us. Looking for a hybrid system now as we get into camping season and a cruise in the fall
We use BG, Fuzzibunz and Bluberry Minky's for nighttime! I have my prefolds as standby, depending on how long the trip is!

I use the Flip hybrid system, but I don't ever use the disposable inserts - for in the car I use the stay dry with a hemp thirsties doubler. We just put in about 24 hours of road time over the last two weeks and used cloth about half the time (on the way back from the beach, kiddo had some kind of crazy rash from the sand?chlorine?salt water? so we had to buy some sposies). I only partially used cloth at my dad's house since they have a front loader, which totally intimidated me, LOL.

Day outings, I use hybrids usually to cut down on the bulk in my bag (either GroBaby or BestBottoms)
Long trips, like we just flew from CA to MD and stayed a week, I brought all of my pockets, hybrids and fitteds.
I usually just avoid prefolds when I am out and about. And pockets are fine as long as I prestuff them.

I use hybrids when we travel. If it's not too long I'll just store the AI2's in the wetbag. If it's a longer trip and I know I won't be doing laundry (or wanting to) then I use the bio. inserts.

I use cloth except the time that I am flying. When I arrive I use cloth, or if I am driving I use cloth. We took a trip with LO as a newborn with two packs of disposables people gave us when he was born and it was a disaster we will never repeat.

Well, we haven't traveled anywhere yet, but I'm sure we would use cloth. I most definitely wouldn't want to use disposables. The past few times I have had to put a disposable on my little guy I have cringed. I love our cloth and don't ever want to go back!

So far, disposables.. We just started using cloth and love it, so would love to get a hybrid system to use for traveling!
Just finished a 3-day roadtrip from FL to OH. We used OsoCozy fitteds with Bummis Super Whisper Wraps during the day and bumgenius 3.0s at night. no probs whatsoever!

We use GroVia or Prefolds with Thristies covers when we travel mostly because we don't ever worry about leaks with either of them and they are trim enough to fight under all of my babies clothes.

I used pre-folds and covers when traveling in Costa Rica, part time CDing for about 3wks. I picked easy to clean, cheap diapers (craigslist) so I could leave them there for a family who would use them. They were so happy to have them.
At home I love my Grobaby's, that is all I use now.

I just started cloth diapering and usually use prefolds with covers. I can't imagine how I would travel with those so I'd probably have to build up my stash of fuzzibunz before I take a trip. Thanks for the giveaway!

I use my GroBaby {don't have any of the new GroVia's yet} and my Katydid pockets. For me, it's not always about what is simple {the pockets are not exactly ideal for travel, with having to stuff them and all}, but what is going to hold the most and keep baby as dry as possible before we can stop again.
I would love to try out the GroVia's seeing as I have already had experience with the GroBaby's.

it depends on where we're going. if we're flying, we use 7th gen disposables in the airplane. changing cloth in that teeny bathroom is just a nightmare, in my experience! if we're going to the beach, i use disposables as well. anywhere else, and we just use our regular cloth diapers.

I think we might use either GroVia or disposables...maybe g-diaper but It'll be a 5 day drive with no washer...no time for a laundry mat either...kind of a bummer!
I try to use our usual Flip, but sometimes to make it easier I use the disposable insert for it. Depending on where we're going it comes it handy!

Nothing special for travel -- just econobum during the day, 'sposies at night.
We just spent a 4 day weekend out of town with my inlaws, and we totally rocked the cloth! We used mostly pockets, and were able to wash once!

When we travel it depends. I really love our BG however I do find that thirsties and g-diapers are super easy as all I have to do is bring along inserts (cloth or disposable) and then if there is a poopy the lingers for the g-diaper wash out and I am not carrying around poo... also you can use flushable liners! its a win. at home we most use BG AIO's though.

We don't travel far, but we only use cloth on baby Pixie anyway. Sensitive skin. Finding a disposable diaper that worked would be more effort than I could possibly care about.
So it's pocket diapers (favorites are Thirsties Duo Diapers and Rumparooz) and prefolds with covers and fleece liners.
I'm a facebook fan!
We take our pockets as well as some prefolds as backups.
We use BG, and flip both cloth inserts and disposable, it just depends.

When we travel I use the same things that I use at the house, which are FuzziBunz, BumGenius, prefolds and covers, or lil Joey's, the latter for only my 6 week old, although we have all of these kinds for her. :)
When we travel to see relatives, we just take our regular cloth along (prefolds and covers for day, BumGenius OS pockets for night). When we hotel travel, we use G-diapers.
