Traveling with a baby couldn't get any easier with flip diapers. Just pack an extra cover or two, they are super thin, a half dozen or more disposable inserts and you are set with hardly any bulk. Love it!

When we traveled for a weekend, we just brought our cloth stash (most of it anyway), then washed when we got home. For a longer trip, we used our FLIP covers and disposable inserts during the day, and fitteds with the FLIP covers overnight. LOVE the hybrid option of the FLIPs!! And I'd love to get one of my expecting friends into cloth and/or hybrid diapering :)

I have always used disposables in the past and am excited to start CDing #3 when she makes her appearance! So yeah, disposables for travel.

When we travel I pack the prefolds for when we arrive, and use the pockets on the road. Though when he had to travel for my grandfather's funeral at the beginning of December, it was sudden enough that I bought a pack of chlorine-free disposables; we drove 12ish hours to Wisconsin, stayed a day, then turned around and then another 12 back. The last thing I needed was more diapers.

I haven't traveled with my baby yet (he's only 5 months), but when we do I am hoping to use Flips.

Many times we have used disposable when traveling because we didn't have really good travel diapers like hybrids with disposable inserts or washing places to wash my diapers. A couple times we have been able to travel with cloth and I have used mostly fitteds or prefolds with covers so that I could take less bulky parts of my stash.

We don't travel far with our 2 month old... but we still use our cloth, even for all day outings! Of course, all we use are BGs and FBs... I'd love to try the flip system. We're planning some trips for this summer--this is probably something I'd never invest in on my own, but I'd love to have some to see if it's something we need to do!
