We took a trip last April and used disposables. If I could do things differently I would use Flips. I couldn't stand how she crinkled when she moved.

I traveled for a week only 2 weeks after we started cloth. Did not have washing facilities, so we used disposables until the drive home, when we broke out the cloth because I knew I would be able to wash soon. I wish we could have used cloth, because we had 3 diaper blowouts that week!

We live on an island, so we haven't really "traveled" anywhere with the baby. However, when we fly back to the East Coast in a few months, we will be using disposables to save room in our luggage. (Only taking enough in the diaper bag for the flight, then buying diapers when we get there, and bringing back just enough for the return flight.)

I've just taken my entire stash of pockets, prefolds, and a single Flip when we travel to see family. Fortunately, I've always been able to do laundry when we stay somewhere for more than a couple days.

My daughter has now flown approximately 30,000 miles in the first year of her life and we've tried it all! I loved using our BG 4.0 and FB for shorter flights, but they were just too bulky in the carry-on for longer ones. Gdiapers with the flushable inserts were nice because they were really slim in my diaper bag, but they have only worked so-so. I guess I haven't found the perfect plan in those 30,000 miles!

My son is only 8 weeks old, so we have not traveled with him yet. When my daughter was in diapers we used 3 different methods of diapering while traveling. If we were going to visit family by car at their house, or would just be gone for a short time, we would just bring along all of our Fuzzi Bunz and accoutrement and wash them as usual there or when we returned home. If we were going somewhere by plane we would use 7th generation disposables.

If I am traveling and I will have access to a washing machine or I won't be gone long enough to need a wash, I use a mix of pockets, covers and prefolds. If I will not have a washing machine, or more importantly a dryer, I use mostly flats and covers, with a few prefolds for over night.

We are currently on vacation with my 2 week old daughter (so she could meet grandma) and we're using GroVia hybrids. We used the disposable biosoakers on the plane and the cloth soakers for the reminder of the trip. But I would love to try the Flips!

We used Thirsties covers with GMD prefolds, and a few BG's os. for in the car...makes changes easier.
Huggies disposables. We tried g-diapers hybrids...NOT a fan. So we've stuck with disposables for traveling at my husband's request.

Second-time mom...CDing for the first time with my 1-month-old. We haven't gone farther than the grocery, yet. So, we have no travel experience with cloth. With my 2-year-old son, we used pampers extra absorbency (before the dry-max..our kids are allergic, which is why we're trying cloth on the baby).
We've used disposable, but I'm planning on buying hybrids for our upcoming cross-country move.

When we are driving to visit family (think 15 hour car rides) I take my stash of bg and all my hemp inserts and just use them like normal. I've never had a leak in the car.
When we fly I use disposables. We don't have room to pack cd & it's cheaper to buy disposable wherever we are going than to pay for another bag.

For traveling I bring a few Best Bottoms shells and lots of snap-in hemp inserts! They fit better in the dry/wet bag than prefolds or pockets of the same quantity.

If we are traveling for up to two nights, I'll bring my normal cloth stash. When we went to my parents' summer house for 2 weeks, I also brought our cloth stash (we drove). When we've traveled by air for longer than 2 nights, I've used gdiapers or seventh generation disposables. When we travel for the weekend next month I'll probably just use 7th generations for both my kids (18 months and 3 months) as I'll be on my own for the flight and can't carry too much!

I don't have any kids yet, but when I have traveled with kids, we always used disposables. It had never occurred to me how much room diapers can take up in your luggage! I could see hybrids like the flip being great for travel.
Little guy is due tomorrow (yay!), so we have not yet traveled with him. I would guess at first we'll use disposables until we're comfortable and he's big enough for an option like this.
We use disposable so far but would love to try a hybrid system
