I have been CD'ing for almost 4 years now. I have traveled a lot in that time. On our 5 week trip overseas, I even took our whole lot of diapers with us and used the washing machines at the friend's house we were staying at.
Mostly, if it isnt too long of a trip (as they havn't really been) I just take a large wet bag!

I typically don't use cloth when I travel any longer than a shopping/grocery trip. I will use disposables (tushies or huggies natural) :( . I haven't quit gotten over the bulk (a lot more space is needed in luggage for cloth diapers both there and back) or how to handle poop (don't like the idea of dunking in someone else's toilet and disposable liners don't always catch everything). I have thought it would be nice to try one of the cloth systems that have disposables for traveling.

I have BG sized AIOs that I usually like using when we're out shopping or running errands. If we are going on a longer trip, I stuff the AIOs with a small bamboo or hemp doubler to increase absorbency and prevent compression leaks. I use mainly BG pockets for nighttime. I prefer to use diapers with a stay-dry layer during nights and long trips so that my son will be more comfortable. For going out, I prefer to take trimmer AIOs and pockets so that I can fit more in my diaper bag.

We will be cloth diapering for the first time, so with our first 2 we used sposies to travel. I love the idea of a cover with disposable inserts to keep using cloth while traveling!

Disposables so far when travelling, but I recently purchased Planet Wise wet bags from KC as well as a stash of Fuzzi Bunz & Bum Genius diapers... I use them all the time!
Our trips are always really long with lots of driving and no washing machines, so we go with Huggies disposables.

We took our first big trip over the holidays, and because we were gone for the week w/no laundry, we made the rough decision to use 7th Generation 'sposies. What a nightmare! I have CD my DD since we brought her home from the hospital, and I couldn't stand the 'sposies. They feel like icky paper, gave DD a rash, and we had our first ever blowout at a rest stop in Delaware - gigantic and of course her backup outfit was across the rest area with daddy in the diaper bag! We were so happy to get home to our Bummis OG prefolds, Thirsties Duo covers, BG 4.0's and Tots Bots Easy Fits!
Next time we travel, I need a better solution!

My favorite traveling pants are gDiapers with flushable gRefills. I am not brave enough to travel with traditional cloth!

We use our regular stash when traveling, including prefolds/covers, pockets, and Softbums. If we're going to be in the car a long time I have used a fitted with a wool cover for more breathability though.

Sadly, I use disposables when traveling. Maybe the Flips will solve the problem?

Right now we use disposibles when we're out and cloth at home. I hope to use more cloth when I can afford to buy more.
I have used disposables as well as Kawaii pockets.
We used cloth when we went to "camp" and there was a washer and dryer there. Otherwise, we would take disposables. Recently, though, we just tried gDiapers and have been using those with cloth at home and with disposable inserts for out and about.

I have used Pampers baby dry, Gdiapers with gCloths, and flips with gRefills. I loved traveling with flips my friend lended me two for the trip with some gRefills. When I got to my destination I bought the cloth inserts for them and used them on our vacation. I like the gdiapers but they leak when he is sleeping or in the carseat. I got tired of buying pampers because they were 5 dollars more!

I'm new to cloth diapering and we have a trip planned in March...not sure what I'm going to use yet. I'm not sure if cloth will be feasible for an overseas flight but I really don't want to do disposable...will figure something out I'm sure!

I plan on starting cloth diapering when our little girl is born anyday now. When we travel, I plan to use the Flip diapers with the disposable inserts. At home though we will be using the stay dry inserts.

When we drove from Nova Scotia, Canada, to Cincinnati, Ohio, when our son was three months old, I thought, let's just use disposables cuz they take up less room, and we don't have to carry dirty diapers everywhere. My husband on the other hand, didn't like the idea of our son sitting in disposables for three days. So, we put him in his usual fuzzy bunz. It was a great idea, as every time he has a number 2 in a disposable he bursts out the tops, so I'm thankful for no diaper rash, and no explosions!!!

I've used disposables when traveling, only to have her leak all over her clothes. So, as much as possible, I like to haul along the cloth. I haven't done any major trips yet though, just one hour away for one night so far. I really am leaning more to the Flip system for going out- it's the most compact and versatile way to haul cloth. I do need a portable wet bag though.
