Meet June's Spotlight MOM: Jenny O.

Name: Jenny O.

City: Dover, NH

Mom to: Emmaline (3.5) and Abigail (8 months)

Here's what she has to say about diapering, motherhood and everything in between:

What is the #1 reason you cloth diaper your baby?
If I have to pick just one I would say cost savings. Although with all the cute prints available to buy, I am still waiting to get to the true cost savings.

Who has been your biggest cloth diapering supporter/ cheerleader?
My Mom. She encouraged me to use cloth with my oldest daughter. I hesitated because I was a first time mom and my husband had never changed a diaper before. When I got pregnant with Abigail I decided to do some more research and quickly knew there was no option for our family other than cloth. My mom continues to support us using cloth and absolutely loves the modern cloth diaper.

What is one product you absolutely can't live with out?
Our diaper sprayer. We hooked it up before Abigail was born and used it while potty training Emmaline. Wish I would have had it 6 months sooner, it makes things sooo much easier.

If you had one superhero power, what would it be and why?
I would want to be able to protect all kids from ever being picked on, teased or bullied. I watch my daughters and see how sweet and gentle they are. I want to put a protective shield around them so they are never hurt by anyone.

Describe your parenting style using three words.
Patience. Creativity. Supportive.

What is your favorite diaper and why?
For daytime I like the FuzziBunz One Size. It is very trim and fits great. At night, I love BG 4.0's because they don't leak.

How do you think being a mother has changed you?
Being a mom has taught me to not stress about the small stuff and to just let it go, as well as to appreciate the little things in life.

Pretty name Emmaline. I love your night time choice for diapering. I just got back into them for my heavy wetter. I just have to get creative and stuff it with either a hemp babies doubler or a Flip organic. Blessings to you.

Holy cow can I please be like her? My number one reason for cloth is cost savings too. I'm doing my best to resist buying every cute one out there also. It's really tough!!!
