Earth Day is April 22nd and we're celebrating with some of our favorite cloth diaper and babywearing friends.
If you're reading this, chances are that you use cloth diapers (or considering it). Cloth diapers are eco-friendly and save thousands of disposable diapers from a lifetime in a landfill. What other ways have you changed your life, because of cloth diapers, to be more eco-friendly? Have you started using cloth wipes? What about ditching disposable paper towels and switching to People Towels? Have you switched from tampons to menstrual cups or cloth pads? Did you know that there are toxic ingredients in many bath and body products; we carry an entire line of eco-friendly, non-toxic skin care products too.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 235 of 235I already cloth diaper my baby, I can start using mama cloth. I have been curious about it.
One thing we are doing in honor of Earth Day is starting our worm bin! It will help keep food scraps out of the landfill.
Thank you for doing this! This would be amazing to win!
To be more green I will cloth diaper and recycle.
I need to be more consistent with using "family" cloth. Super easy to do, I've just been lazy about stocking my 2 bathrooms :/
I love mother earth by cloth diapering, composting to reduce waste, buying local when possible, buying organic fruits and veggies to reduce contribution to pesticides in the ground( also organic materials like clothes when possible). I use only natural cleaners to reduce the amount of nasty chemicals leaching into the environment. I use cloth wipes for baby and for our house. We also use resusable bags (mostly made from old t-shirts)- at my Whole foods I am known as the "no bag" lady because if I forget my bags I just load them in the cart and transfer to the car :). I have reusable cups for out and about and reusable snack bags for lunch. I try to reduce usage of disposable containers as much as possible. I buy clothes and items from consignment shops and yards sales. We recycle whatever we can and I always bring home any containers that I can't recycle while I'm out ! I slip up everyone once in a while but I always get back on track because its important that my family and I do our part to help mother earth! Reduce, reuse and recycle
Use cloth towels, napkins, etc.
cloth diaper of course! eat local!
Tell someone about cloth!
We love using reusable cloth for most everything at home (diapers, wipes, bathroom hand towels, snack bags) but we're still stuck on paper towels for the kitchen! Trying to switch the kitchen to reusable supplies is our next step to a greener life
I'm going to start line drying our diapers. It is better for the diapers and the earth :)
Am trying the Marie Kondo approach to decluttering- donating things we have no need for anymore. We cloth diaper, recycle and make our own baby food too :)
We do all sorts of things to help the planet from helping to run a local food coop to gardening and recycling.
We garden!
I can avoid paper products.
Remember to bring more grocery totes with me. I always forget and either pay 5 cents a bag or buy reusable ones. One day I wont forget and it will be routine for me.
Would love to win a Moraki diaper!!! :)
I use cloth diaper, cloth wipes and line dry our clothes outside.
My four year old son and I are planting an organic window box garden for Earth day.
You could plant an organic garden.
I'm planning on using my cloth wipes instead of disposables.
We recycled. I wanted to plant some flowers but that didn't happen.
Use actual towels instead of paper towels
On earth day we decided we wouldn't drive our car on that day...walking and bikes only. We also cloth diaper 100%!
Hope to win!
I use cloth diapers and am switching to cloth wipes instead of disposables.
I can use more locally grown food and reusable shopping bags.
Cloth diaper, breastfeed and conserve water
Recycle!
Now that the weather is getting nicer I plan to hang dry our cloth diapers.
don't use water bottles, buy a good filter.
I will try to recycle at home, rather than just at work!
Start cloth diapering earlier with this baby than the last!
I am working on using less paper towels and using more of my rags for cleaning and general kitchen messes. :)
