We just started cloth diapering. We're loving it. I've been telling people about our adventures with them and so far at least one of my friends seems really interested in it.

I am in the process of converting one of my neighbors to clothdiapering--so far she seems ready to do a trial!
I don't think I've converted anyone to cloth yet, but it's not for lack of trying! The moms at the church nursery are impressed with how easy cloth diapers look, as are the nurses at the pediatrician's office!

I just recently started cloth diapering so I have not converted anyone yet but some of my friends are getting curious so they're waiting to see what I have to say. So far so good!

I haven't converted anyone who actually has children yet, but our college-aged babysitter is totally into CDing now since seeing how easy it is to do with our children! (Of course she's not doing the washing part, but I don't find that hard or an "extra" job anyway!) She thinks our CDs are so cute and loves the colors! (Can't wait to see what she thinks of the new Bumgenius 3.0 diaper colors I just ordered... I know I love them!)

Commented on the weekend coupon!
An interesting question because just yesterday (Saturday) we were at a picnic and I made it a point to bring a few of my CD options to show everyone (prefolds, covers, pockets, fleece liners, cloth wipes, etc...).
Everyone was really surprised at how easy CDing is. One mom even pointed out without my saying it - what a HUGE savings CDing would be!
I have two friends who are currently pregnant that were very intrigued.
Another friend is currently trying to conceive and after talking to her about she will be CDing when she has a little one. She was very open to it because her family (inlaws) have converted her to a crunchy lifestyle.
I even talked a total stranger at a Target store into cloth diapering when she stopped me to ask about them.
For the sensible person it is not a difficult "sell."
Although I like to consider myself as more of a leader than a follower... I am a follower of your blog. =D
I also posted a comment to congratulate Christy - last weeks winner. (I accidentally posted under another gmail account but it was me Serena). =)
I have not converted anyone, yet. I have my sister atleast trying it and I think my SIL is considering it, both due early next year. I wish I had 12 diapers I could let people barrow to try, I alway get, "wow, I would never have the time." I do not think people know just how easy it is and that it does not take that much more time.

Hi, so far we have convinced 2 people that cloth is the best. But I am always sharing what I know in hopes that others will see the vaule to cloth diapering.
i tell everyone who will listen about cloth diapers. i don't know anyone who is pregnant or who has diaper-aged children. so i haven't convinced anyone in that respect. however, i have gotten my father, his wife, my sister, and her husband to come to terms with cloth diapers. when they see me change my youngest they are surprised at how easy it is. for some reason, people seem to think that using cloth makes things harder or less convenient.
My SIL (one of my converts) were talking about this the other day -- I converted her, and she's converted several, too. For direct converts, I know I've contributed to at least four!
Bonus -- I'm a brand new follower via google reader.
I purchased 2 of the Bumgenius holiday packs on black Friday (each comes with one pink, blue, green, and yellow). Since I have 2 boys (Alex and Ben 7 mos) we passed our pink diapers on to a friend of mine who has been asking me a lot of questions about our cd adventures and has an almost 1 year old. Hopefully she will like them and convert!

I've only been CDing for six months, so I haven't converted anyone yet...but I talked to my cousin about it over Thanksgiving and she is going to look into in when she starts her family. (She doesn't have any kids yet.) She liked the idea of the Bum Genius 3.0 when I told her about it.

Thanks for the x-tra comment! I was numero 3!
I don't have any real converts yet but I'm working on it. Actually - I think I may have one convert. When she heard I was planning to do it she too started to do the research and is now cloth diapering. Her son was born before mine so she actually officially started first.

I converted my bff!! She thought I was crazy at first but she learned it is easy and has begun her stash for her LO when they arrive in the spring!
amandatoneyjohnson[at]yahoo[dot]
I'm telling everyone how much I love cloth diapers... and often bring the spare out of the diaper bag to demonstrate who easy they are! I know that I've got a couple of people thinking about switching. And one friend that isn't pregnant but thought that cloth diapers are so cool that she will use them whenever she does have kids!
PS- the nurse at the doctors office says that she is so excited to see someone using cloth diapers again!

Actually everyone thinks we are crazy to cloth diaper! Except of course my mom and mother in law who cloth diapered my husband and I. We are really looking forward to cd'ing our baby girl once she arrives in March and read all the blogs to ensure we are well prepared.
I am not sure if I have converted any. At my ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education)class I was asked to bring in information for all of the mom's since I had mentioned that I switched to cloth diapers recently. So I provided all of the mom's with the info, but that was at the end of the class so I never got to see if anyone switched over. I also have posted info on my facebook page too... so I hope that I have converted people or at least given them information to think about!

I have been using cloth diapers for almost three months on my second child - with the first we used disposables.
I am obsessed with cloth diapering..I always felt awful about my daughter's diaper trash, but I had no idea cloth diapering was so easy!
I have converted my neighbor/best friend to cloth diapers - I loan her Bumgenius OS diapers and do all the washing currently. She's going to be buying her own soon!! I am super excited!

Two of my 'converts' are huge converters themselves. We added it up the other day and think we're at about 6, with some others who are very interested once they start having kids.

I haven't converted anyone new to cloth diapering yet. I'm working on my friend who is expecting twins in Feb. She used to rave about Fuzzi Bunz and how she was going to CD, but once she had her first born, she did disposables due to the initial cost of CDing...That was 18 months ago! I am determined to get all three of her kids in cloth.
commented on the "Product Focus" Bumwear Diapers" post. BTW, the pink batik bumwear diaper featured in this Fluff Friday contest is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'd buy one, but then my 2 daughters would fight over who gets to wear it!

I decided to CD when I was still pg with my 2nd. I have a friend who was complaining of her LO who is a month younger then mine getting rashes and also how expensive the disposables were. I told her to try cloth diapers. I gave her some of mine I wasnt using, she loved it. Her LO is almost 7 mos old and she is addicted to CDing now! All her LO rashes went away as well.

I was actually converted myself by 2-3 different people that gave me different information about cloth diapering.
My sister converted me
I posted a comment about diaper sprayers today!
I have told many of my new mom friends about cloth diapers and many of them are really intrigued/interested in it. Some have said that they may try it with their next one. I do have one long distance friend who asked for some advice about cd's (she had another friend who was trying to get her to cd her 2nd baby) and she is now a happily cding mama. So I take at least partial credit for that! :)

I have converted my sister who isn't even pregnant but is very eco friendly.
I actually dont know anyone who does cloth diapering... i am the only one. When i was prego with my first child everyone warned me against cloth diapering! (Mostly those who had been trough the pins and folds)lol. I researched cloth diapering when my son was born b/c it was tough diapering 2 kids. I immediantly loved how cute they were and i have been hooked ever since! - terra @ tszcz21@yahoo.com

I haven't converted anyone yet. I did let a friend have my stash of infant prefolds and covers when her little one was born but I don't think she ever tried them. One, she didn't have a washer/dryer in here apartmnet and two, I think if I had some AIOs or OS, anything besides prefolds, she might of giving it a better shot.
I am still willing to keep trying.

Wednesday's comment!
i commented on the diaper sprayer post and the wetbag post :) great posts today keli :)
commented on the wet bags post... also meant to say I think the wet bag is a CD essential! Our wet bags keep the smell and any liquids (or other unmentionables) completely contained. We have used plastic bags in a pinch, but doing that contradicts our conservation efforts, and definitely does NOT adequately contain smells or messes!
hey i thought of a convert :) i converted my husband .. LOL ... it took a bit to convince him to do it but now he loves it :) he even cleans the really nasty poopy ones :)
CD daddies rock !!
