We haven't traveled yet with out 19 month old daughter, other than an overnight trip to grandma's where no washing is necessary. However, in the past when we have traveled we always stay with friends or family, so we would just stick with cloth since we have access to a washer and dryer.

We use disposables for long trips, but shorter trips or trips where we stay with family we use cloth.

We are thinking ahead about traveling to Colorado with our kids next year and I would love to try the flushable diapers then. I haven't gone too far from home (in 2 years!) before... but, these might give us the confidence to try.

I haven't made too many trips where I needed to do diaper changes with LO yet. So far just used 'sposies. I would like to look into the gDiapers or Flip system to I have another option when going out and about!

We have used both gDiapers and Nature Babycare (a biodegradable disposable). This past weekend we attended a family reunion where we exclusively used the gdiapers with the biodegradable inserts...no big problems!

Mostly disposables unless it's a short trip where I won't need to wash diapers while away. Then i'll use cloth.

We will probably use disposables for the drive when we take a trip in February, and diapers while we are at the location

depending on length of stay and availability of facilities...
*weekend trip anywhere--cloth.
*week long to relatives or big city--cloth.
*week long small town or camping--flushable, biodegradable.
Haven't been anywhere longer since before babies...might have to go with disposables so I wouldn't have to pack as much bulk. Anyone wanna send me to Europe for a month? ;o)
I always use cloth even while traveling, however, I do often use flushable liners just to make the clean-up a little easier.
I don't diaper yet, but I expect that when we go somewhere for more than a day or 2 than we will probably use disposables.

We've used cloth, dispsoables, & Gdiapers when traveling before. It really depends upon how long we'll be gone & if we'll have easy washer/dryer access.

I would probably use a mix of cloth and sposies

I would prefer to never use disposables, but lugging dirty cloth around isn't always a great option either. gdiapers sound perfect!
We have never had to travel using cloth diapers...but I would definitely use the gdiapers with disposable inserts. Those look AMAZING!

We are new to cloth diapers. We haven't traveled yet, but I use disposables when we spend the day (or afternoon) at my mom's--so I'd probably use disposables for the ease.

We usually use cloth while traveling with maybe a few disposables on hand for certain situations (needing to stretch the stash between wash facilities or putting the kids in church childcare). If I had a hybrid system that would be great for travel!

I think gDiapers are a great way to travel and they don't scare cloth disbelievers. I just got a "blue stripe" g at my shower from my MIL :)
We've used different option while traveling. It depends on how long we'll be gone & if there is washer/dryer access. We're traveling over Christmas this year & will most likely just use cloth with a few disposable inserts in gDiapers & Flip.

Daily Post: I use cloth while traveling as long as I can do laundry somewhere. We don't usually travel for too long or too far away, so it has worked so far. My two sisters use cloth also, so they would certainly let me wash at their houses.

if i am goign somewhere a washing machine is easily accessible i use cloth. if not, then i use grobaby shells with their disposable insert.
We have just been using our regular cloth diapers and washing while we travel. We would love to try the gDiapers though with the flushable liners.

I love that you can use the biodegradable inserts when you need them and cloth inserts when you dont so you can keep gdiapers in rotation with the rest of your stash! I'd hate to spend money on a diaper that is ONLY used for travel. I'd probably just buy disposables.

usually use disposables when we travel overnight. Just one less thing to have to plan for I guess
I follow you blog
If we're going to family, I just bring my diaper pail, a kitty litter cantainer with a snug fitting lid and we go. I usually pull the clean diapers out of the dryer and fold and stuff while my husband drives. A few times when we've been away from a washer, I'll just switch to disposables, but my daughter doesn't seem to care for them as much!
wesmoody at bellsouth dot net
My husband prefers to use disposables on trips because he thinks it's easiest. I personally prefer to stick with the cloth if possible (talking to the person about using their washer ect.) but if it's not possible nothing beats flushing the gdiapers, they leave no smell of poop in the house either as a bonus!!

if it's a short trip where I can pack enough CD or I can use a washer/dryer than I take my cloth. We've only been on 1 trip where we used disposables.

I used gdiapers with flushable inserts on a 4 day trip and they worked great! On shorter trips, I just usually bring my cloth diapers and a large wetbag. However, gdiapers with cloth inserts are great for traveling as they take up lots less space in the wetbag.

We did not start useing cloth until our son was already a year old, and he is 16 months now. We travel often and we use gDiapers but instead of the flushable insert (which can get expensive) we use gerber prefolds. I cut them to the right size and have sewn the edges to keep them intact. When we are out I just stick the dirties into a big ziplock and wash them when I get home or if gone more than overnight I go to a laundry mat.

gDiapers create less waste and are more biodegradable than disposables with the abilities to only have to clean as much as underwear. - great alternative for those on the cloth fence (or with significant other who are) and for outside the home.

I use cloth when traveling. I have used disposables but still like my trusty ECOBABY fitteds and wool covers. I have tried the G-Diapers covers (they were from a friend) and they worked really well, but my BIG boy outgrew them and I haven't had a chance to get bigger ones.

Our traveling usually involves staying with friends or family so we would probably stick with cloth since we would have access to a washer and dryer. gDiapers would probably work for a long camping trip.
