I just moved DS up into bigger sized diapers, so I'm still figuring out our night-time diapers. What I'm trying right now is using a Knickernappies Super-Do insert in whatever available pocket diaper shell I have at the moment. :-P So far, we've had a couple leaks, but I'm thinking that the Super-Do needs a few more washes until it gets full absorbency.

My favorite nighttime diaper for my DD (3.5y) is bumessentials bumbino with the terry pad. super absorbant...although lately she has been staying dry all night only to quickly flood the diaper before we can get her to the potty. Still, it is usually able to withstand the flood of overnight pee. :)

We mainly use prefolds. I have found that adding a microfiber insert/doubler to the middle f the prefold before folding in thirds works best for us. Also sometimes we add a fleece insert to the top of the prefold once it's been folding. It took until our oldest was almost out of diapers for us to finally find something that worked. Great thing that it worked for our girls as well.
